Review Dodas Pizza - Glendale

This is a great spot. Staff was attentive. Slices were huge! They did not skimp on the toppings. The wings were large, saucy, and crispy. We'll definitely be stopping by again when in the area. The bathroom was very clean.

First time trying this place and it was perfect. From an easy menu, to the decorations and effort put into the restaurant. Great customer service and hospitality. Pizza was awesome and had a perfect crunch. Will definitely be back👍

My husband and I looooooooove love love Doda's! Best pizza, best wings, great family. I love seeing their adorable faces when we pick up our order. There is no such thing as a "bad" Doda's order. Their sandwiches are also great, but we can't get enough of their pizza. And I'm not a pizza person! But Doda's is simply the best. So try anything and it will be a hit. Much love 🖤

Pizza was good and staff was attentive. Great customer service!! We ordered the meat lovers pizza. The thick Sicilian crust was great! A little pricey… for the meat lovers plus a large pizza and 20 wings, it was $68 including tax.

We visit doda’s every few months since its not super close to us. Totally worth the drive every time! Food is always consistently great! Love their wings, good size, juicy, and good sauce. We always ask for our pizza and wings well done, and it always comes thats way! It is not easy to find even decent customer service now days, but customer service here is excellent always. Very friendly and attentive. We will continue to come back!

We love this local family owned restaurant. They are so friendly and helpful. The food is always fresh and tastes great. Their prices are great too compared to other local pizza places.

I always forget to leave a review here, but this place is absolutely amazing. The pizza is great, the wings are juicy and crispy with flavorful sauces, and the ranch dressing/dipping sauce is some of the best I've had. But beyond that, the employees are hands down the nicest people I've ever interacted with. They always have a smile, and they always recognize me and greet me almost the moment I walk through the door. Long story short, I couldn't recommend this place enough. If you haven't gone, and you like pizza at all, you absolutely should try Doda's.

Another visit and another REALLY delicious meatball sub!!! Of course like last time, had to get a slice... can't pass up a slice! (Yes, it didn't take me long to go back) And i got a slice because you just can't resist... and none of it let down! ------------------------------------------------- I happen to come across this through Google and saw this place has a lot of excellent reviews. I, like most others (especially those like myself who grew up their whole lives in NY) have seen this way too many times here in the valley. Place describes NY style pizza and the vast majority are trash! I'm happy to write that I did finally try their pizza and it is just as good of a slice that you would even get in NY (not all NY pizza places are amazing). AWESOME crust, thin, right amount of good cheese, nice tasting sauce all with a slice that you can fold in half and fell like you are in NY! Huge kudos from me.. I grew up in the Bronx so I am no stranger to amazing pizza. Dodas is up there with the best. Very impressed, very happy, and can't wait to go back to try more on the menu!

Awesome local pizza place. We usually get takeout and either a deep dish or NY style crust, depending on how we feel. Both are great and their breadsticks are huge and fluffy. Price is very reasonable given the portion size.

Love NY pizza? This is the place to go. Photos of NY scenes line the walls and the delectable scent of sauce filled the air. Honestly, I have not smelled that particular sauce aroma mingling with a pizza oven hot enough to put a good char on it since I left NY many moons ago so this was like a time machine. This cozy place has a non-chain family run feel to it, and no wonder, it is indeed a family operated business and multiple generations were there to make me feel right at home. Had I just wanted to snack on a slice, I could have gotten one--something that is often hard to come by in the Valley. They have reasonably priced lunch specials like subs, wings, slices, and combos, but I was there to try their original cheese pizza for a no-frills experience and it did not disappoint. No soggy parts on the bottom, and as any New Yorker will tell you, just firm enough to fold and pick up and bite into without tug-o-warring it. And that sauce wasn't outta any can, and that wasn't any phony or cheap-o cheese. Short of heading back East, take a little trip to Doda's. P.S. Only a minor suggestion re: the crust. The dough rim could be a little higher so some of those great NY char bubbles could form....

This was an awesome choice for my boys. I ordered a two Ex-larges, cheese sticks, and fried mushrooms. Being from out of town.. They had stars of excitement. These pizzas were delicious but also huge slices. The dough was on point. Omg we found our go too for pizza. Keep up with the amazing job.

Excellent! It took us a while after moving to the area in late 2021 to find our go-to choice for pizza. Doda's Pizza caught our eye on a recent shopping stop. I checked the reviews and had a good feeling. Bingo! We look forward to exploring their menu more, but their mainstay, pizza, has our vote for best. Generous toppings, perfect crust, and personable service-with-a-smile.

First time trying this place and it was AMAZING!!! We placed an online order, very simple, fast & convenient… We ordered the XL Cheese Pizza with extra sauce. The pizza was cooked perfectly. Had a nice crunch to the crust, but it was not overcooked. The cheese was perfectly melted & the sauce tasted amazing. The customer service was outstanding! I would definitely return & recommend!!! True authentic New York Pizza !!!

I was looking for a new pizza spot to try and after reading several reviews from various restaurants, I decided to give Doda’s a go. Let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. My son and I ordered a med 14” 1/2 cheese pizza 1/2 pepperoni pizza and ten medium bone in wings. Pizza was freakin OUTSTANDING… crust was light, thin, crispy, and chewy at the same time. Sauce, cheese, and pepperoni were flavorful and complemented each other nicely. The wings (medium) had a well-balanced tangy/savory flavor, nice crispy bits on the drums, and were just the right amount of heat for my 11yr old. The staff was very friendly and helpful…. They greeted us as we entered the restaurant (which was noticeably CLEAN) and said their goodbyes as we exited. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed Doda’s would recommend giving them a try. Imma go take a nap now, as I got the itis. Lol 😉

The pizza here reminds me of being back home in New York. Glad to have found an authentic New York pizza parlor. If you want true authentic New York pizza, this is the place

Finally found a great veggie pizza. The cashier warned us that the penestia pizza would be spicy, but it was something different and we enjoyed it.

First time visiting this place our group of six were turned away from NYPD Pizza. The food was delicious large portions enough to take home. The wings are very meaty. Had the cheese ravioli along with calzone fried mushrooms and several slices of pizza. Will definitely return.

Our service was great when we came here for take out on a weekend. They staff were so friendly and helpful and patient! The food we had was delicious, one of the better pizzas I have ever had! Highly recommend the white pizza for sure (if you like that type of pizza). We also got a dinner salad with blue cheese dressing and that was great, too! Would definitely return and recommend to others.

We had Doda's for the first time. I want to say from the time my Daughter and I walked through the doors we were NOT treat like a customer. We were treated like family!! I have to say I have never been made to feel so welcome and appreciated. Now for the food we got an XL pepperoni with extra cheese, an order of cheese sticks and an order of Zucchini. Everything was very good and full of flavor. We definitely will be back. I feel compelled to just say how impressed how they made us feel like family.

The pizza brought back memories! Tony, the owner, use to run #1 Brothers at 75th & Cactus. This family owned and ran establishment. Definitely a must try if you are in the area!

Doda’s pizza is definitely delicious! First time eating there yesterday may 16th 2018 and it’s in my top two pizzas to eat. We need more places like this this!

Just got your pizza for the very first time. It was amazing! Crust was not too thick, nor too thin. Good amount of cheese and mushrooms. I’m from NJ, and it was just like home!!!!
