Local favorite of mine with the best orange chicken I have had (and I have tried orange chicken at a lot of places). Everything else I have tried has been good. Pick-up and delivery are nice options to have but I like the tea given when eating at the place.
Our favorite Chinese in this area and a huge bonus is they deliver. Always timely and hot. Favorites are the shrimp in lobster sauce, pan-fried dumplings, crab puffs, and Yui-Shan eggplant.
AMAZING. Food is great. Service is fast. Very nice hostess and especially nice waiter. The owner is very attentive and the place is cute and cozy!
We have been to this place a few times and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. The spicy orange chicken is great and the hot and sour soup is the best I have ever eaten. The egg rolls are the big fat kind like I remember eating as a kid. On a side note but with mentioning... I don't know what they do to the table water or how they filter it, but it is really amazing. Go there for a terrific meal at a great price.
Good Neighborhood Restaurant. Nice small neighborhood restaurant. The decor is interesting, the Chinese objects on display were chosen with care. Contrary to other recent reviews, we were seated promptly and treated with respect. The wait help was friendly and the service was timely.
I particularly liked their BEEF WITH BROCCOLI the beef was tender and the broccoli crisp cooked to perfection. It was the gravy I liked. Different than most, it was richer.
We will definitely be back.

This is a great little hole in the wall. I think as of now this is probably my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area
Yum yum yum. Been going to this restaurant ever since it opened years ago. never been disappointed. huge portions . delicious food. try the sizzling shrimp,it's the best ! great value for the money.
Great food at a reasonable price. You get hot tea with your meal free. Great decor and a nice atmosphere.
Kung Pao Chicken, wonton, egg roll, and rice. Oh, egg drop soup. A tastey lunch for $12.95.
I love this place and usually order lunch a couple times a month. Its always ready within 15 minutes. The orange chicken lunch special comes with 2 fried wontons and a delicious egg roll. I also ask for an extra scoop of rice to make two meals out of it. The honey chicken on their dinner menu is also very delicious.
Service was great, the portions were more than enough. I wanted to really give them a 5 star but the flavor was not that strong. Not bad, just not a 5...

They are busy all the time. Some of the best Chinese food you will ever experience. Take out or dine in , always greeted with a smile, they take a lot of pride in the food and service. I have been a customer for years, and they are in my top 10 of my all time favorite places .
We always have a great experience at Abacus Inn. It's been a long time since we are here and have no idea why because it was awesome. Great food at reasonable prices, and good portions. We definitely need to get back here more often. Be sure to take advantage of the lunch menu that is served until 4pm daily...it includes an egg roll, soup and rice along with each entree...great deal!
Great size portions at a decent price, always ready fast, They've been here for years and it's a great environment to eat in, but if you want variety and quick take out its just as useful
Food was fantastic, service was also perfect.
Ordered for the first time today and it was great. Everything was obviously cooked fresh. I love that the veggies were fresh - it makes a world of difference. It was delivered pretty quick too. Online it said there was a 45 minute wait but it didn't take nearly that long. Prices were good - I got enough food to feed 4 people for under $40. I'll definitely be ordering here again.

We had a good experience here. We ordered Beef Lo Mein, Chicken Fried Rice & Egg Rolls.
I'd give the food an A to A - and Service was A+ and respectful.
We went to the restaurant to order to-go & it was done very quickly. Hot & fresh.
The beef was very tender with a good amt of veggies (incld side of white rice was avg). The best part... it was NOT SWEET. I hate sweet Asian food & need to avoid sugar bc family diabetes issues. This was savory & good. Will order again.
Chicken Fried Rice was traditional & average with peas & carrots & scallion. Not too oily and actually had fried egg in it like it should. But I saw a broccoli piece in it. So cross-contamination with another dish possibly. Need to be careful with that. But will order again.
Egg Rolls: Yuck! They are large traditional sized fried egg rolls stuffed with cabbage and meat, but idk what kind (not white pork; not shrimp as is traditional - more like a ground beef). Not appealing. And the coating/flavor had cinnamon on it. I could not eat them. Very unpalatable to me and I wonder if the spice got on them accidentally, thru cross-contamination? If not, you should re-think that flavoring. Will not order them again and that's disappointing.
Our 2nd visit there was not as good. The food was average at best. The white rice was dirty with IDK what in it and the orange chicken dish has strong spices in it & same exact spices in veggie rolls too. Someone at this place is spice crazy. The wanton soup was soggy, broken noodles; broth was weak & kinda gross. Hardly any noodles but lots of raw uncooked carrots with shrimp. Not traditional at all- not even close. So maybe they are more like a 3.5 STAR RATING
Great food with large portions. Customer service is excellent. The orange chicken here is king!
My second time back. We love Abacus Inn! Especially, having leftovers. Generous portions (dinner prices). Phone & reception very friendly, terrifically organized. Pick up is a breeze. We will be back thanks
This gem is the absolute best place to eat. The owners and staff are so nice, the atmosphere is cozy and intimate. My fiance and I come here on date nights. Tea is always served, entrees are big enough to be shared and you HAVE to order the Pu Pu platter...it's bomb. The Orange Chicken is our favorite dish but everything is good...honestly. this place deserves so much recognition.
