Started off poorly when we checked in and were told the patio table we requested and were told "no problem" had already been reserved.

Great authentic Italian food. Not the easiest to find in Phoenix but Bottega hits that note. I recommend making reservations and just order whatever, chances are you'll be happy.

Absolutely stellar food and service. Giovani (sp) took such great care of us. He had two very large tables and yet still managed to see that everyone was happy. Great atmosphere. Six of us met here for dinner. There was a little problem at first but the owner fixed it immediately and we all enjoyed a wonderful dinner perfectly prepared. Every dish was excellent but please consider trying the chicken pizzaiola, a large piece of parmesan crusted chicken covered with mozzarella

Went with a few friends for dinner. The food and presentation was well done. We ordered calamari and bruschetta as an appetizer. Chicken pizzaiolo was very similar to chicken parm which I liked. For desert, the cheesecake was the winner but the others were also a favorite. Would recommend.
Bottega is one of my favorite in AZ! The food is delicious! The texture and flavor of the pizza is spectacular!
