Love the food here , Jey is a great server, he took excellent care of us . That level of service is rare theses days .Alan the owner runs things here top notch ! Great atmosphere to sit by the fire pits and people watch .
Best chicken Kabobs and even my picky kids love to eat here . Highly recommend the hummus trio !
Food is always excellent! I got the Greek burger which is now my favorite burger out of any burger I've ever had. I had been trying to find a good burger place since I moved to Phx a year ago and now I have found it! Had it with the Greek salad which was great, also had it with the fries.....they are killer! The service is always great and it's really nice to sit outside by the fire when its chilly out. To top it all off there is never a wait like all the restaurants around it, and the food us better!
Great lunch place! The Berry Hibiscus Tea was refreshing and flavorful. The Dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) were large and topped with a lemon sauce. Delish!
The Philly pita was topped with cheese, mushrooms, peppers and gyro meat. The Pesto pita usually comes with chicken but I swapped for gyro meat. Bonus - they had Gluten free pita bread!! We both got a side of the Greek fries and they were the absolute best!! Fries cooked perfectly with feta & parmesan cheese and creamy lemon sauce. A large selection of dishes including pizza. Our server, Heather was the best!!
Brandon needs to be paid more. This guy knows it all about Opa Life.
This gentleman was kind, courteous, friendly, & attentive to my gf's first time enjoying Opa. We loved what he recommended. The meal was fantastic. I had the California Pita with Greek fries. Gf had the Kotosoupa soup. Excellent tasting food. I used my FiveStars 20% off coupon. They had no trouble using it. Thanks, Brandon. Super nice dude.
Seated immediately, casual dining, bright atmosphere. The desserts are displayed in case at front and look delicious! Baklava, baklava cheesecake, NY cheesecake, tiramisu. Around$6-8 . We ordered the gyros wrap, which is in tomato basil wrap, the gyros is sliced thick and has salad and tomatoes. The tzatziki sauce on side . Choice of fries,Greek salad ,(good) . Sweet potatoes fries and Greek fries $2 extra . The Greek fries are delicious! Worth the extra $!! Lots of meat in the wrap we took 1/2 home . No dessert, but sure looked tempting!
One of my favorite spots. Happy it's back open. New, open set-up. A little chilly when we went, but still nice atmosphere. We get the same thing every time. Gyros salad/pita, Greek fries(Yum!), Grilled Chicken salad. Delicious!
I don't know much about Greek food, but this seems like a good starter Greek food place. The food is not intimidating, most of it is just greekish American food. The menu is short and simple so it's easy to pick what you want. The location is easy to find, right in the middle of Westgate. The vibe is cool and the waiters/waitresses are cool and accommodating. It wasn't too packed so we were seated quickly and ordered just as quickly. The food was super tasty (must try Greek fries), drinks were expensive, but it's to be expected in Westgate. All-in-all, tasty place to eat, would definitely go to introduce friends to Greek food.😋
Our first time there today about 2 hours ago, atmosphere and food were very good, but Perla provided very poor service, beginning to end. It was about 3 pm, maybe 4 tables (inside and outside) with people there, waited to be seated then told (by Perla) sit where you'd like, took our order within 5-10 minutes, given water with lemon pretty quickly, order was taken, food delivered really fast, then she walked by our table for the duration of the entire meal and never came back for drink refills, no "how was the food" or "how is everything", nothing until we literally waved our hands for her attention did she finally come by. I could tell she is a nice lady, but her customer service needs a little remediation. Get this, it wasn't only us....2 tables down literally had to go to the counter and ask for their check, to go boxes and drink refills, Perla was helping them as well. As we were leaving, paying for our bill, the young lady just coming on the shift about 4:30 or so, asked how everything was and I was just honest, "Food was great but service was poor", didn't think anything of it, paid my bill, still left a tip, got in the truck and noticed that one of the meals was removed from the bill. I didn't get her name but wanted to thank her, I wasn't asking for that but am thankful and hope Perla can step it up a little for this line of work. Thank you for reading...
Very open and airy on a beautiful November night.
.
We got seated very promptly and all the staff we spoke with were super nice.
.
The Mojitos were pretty tasty and had a ton of mint.
.
Everything tasted fresh and I can not complain about anything.
.
Thanks guys.
Flaming Saganaki, Gyro Wrap, all delicious! The Falafel Pita was great as well!
Food was absolutely amazing. The boss and who seemed to be the owner, though, appeared to be quite rude to the employees the entire time we were there. Maybe he was having a bad day, but it made us uncomfortable to the point where we might not come back. When we think of Opa, we think more about the boss that is spinning around angry and yelling at his staff just as much as the amazing food.
Greek food is so tasty and healthy. Now that Opa made renovations and switched to sit down orders, we love to go there once a month
