Review A Touch Of European Cafe - Glendale

This is one of our greatest new finds. My husband and I are always looking for a new local place to eat at. While walking around downtown Glendale, we happened upon this little gem. The food was so good that we can't wait to go back and try a few more dishes.

It's a great little place in the heart of old Town Glendale... First time visitor, had no idea what to expect... what i found was a small friendly place with momma taking care of us and food that was delicious... was stuffed, but found it easy to clean the plate. Will be back! In the pic... Top right, polish sampler platter Lower left, smoked kielbasa sandwich...

First time here and wow. The pickle soup was amazing!! The bread was heaven and the carrot cake was perfect! The owners are wonderful and a totally relaxed atmosphere. Try to bring cash as it is preferred but cards are accepted. Also take a few moments to walk around the area and look at the shops.

It was to be our New Year's Eve celebratory meal, but sadly they were closed for vacation. Once we remembered we wanted to go there, it was three weeks later, it was definitely worth it. Husband and wife team; he's in the kitchen, she's out front. Per usual, we ordered everything we wanted to try. EVERYTHING WAS SUPERB. Pictured mango passionfruit tea drinks, kielbasa platter with sausage, bacon, onions, pickles. Toasted bread to perfection. Main course.. Hunter Stew two big pieces of sausage. Homemade pasta, sauerkraut, cabbage, also had Hungarian Pork Goulash with shredded and bigger chunks of pork, carrots, side of green beans (very unique flavor). NO we didn't forget dessert, chocolate mousse cake over the top also lemoncello cake. We got two coconut macaroon cookies dipped in dark chocolate. We were so satisfied with everything from the food to the conversation with owner and my girl. The spot is in the historic district in Glendale.

This place never disappoints, food is always fresh and full of flavor. Owner rocks! And the chef knows food combining all the right ingredients. Never overkill, just right. Definitely a 5 ⭐ place to enjoy lunch.

I was visiting my mother in Sun City. She is originally from Germany. The menu looked interesting so we gave it a try. We did take out: ordered many dishes so we could try as much as possible. It was all delicious. Really loved their Hunters stew, stuffed cabbage rolls and wow the dill pickle soup was wonderful. Everything was so good. Thanks and we will order again.

Delish Polish combo! I so enjoyed authentic food being Polish myself. Will return on next visit to AZ.

Oh my goodness! How on earth did I miss this place?! I have walked or driven past here dozens of times. The food is fabulous, heavenly! We tried the pork goulash, very different than anything I've tried and superb! And the chicken salad sandwich was amazing! Never heard of apricot walnut bread which is outstanding! Oh my gosh! The split pea soup is the best I've had in Phoenix next to my own. The waitress was super friendly and happy to answer the many questions I asked.

I can't say enough about how happy we are that we ate here! The food was SOOOOOOO good! Reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. The perogies, kielbasa, cabbage roll, hunter stew and borscht were delicious. Felt very cozy and welcoming and the owners were so friendly. Highly recommend

- Absolutely delicious. - Small but comfortable. - Homey feel to it. - LOTS of food options! - Get the Polish Sample Platter! I was here 3 years ago (pre-pandemic) with friends and ever since then I have been wanting to come back, it's quite the travel distance for me but it was worth it. I got there near the end of a rainy day (11/9/2022) with only an hour left, I knew what I wanted (Polish Sample Platter - $25), placed the order, and hot delicious fresh food was in front of me in less than 10-15 minutes. It was so good, I also tried one of the drinks in the cooler Tymbark Apple Mint, not my favorite but it was worth trying! I took home some baklava dessert and it was great to share with family. I would recommend coming here!
