Located in the historic district of Glendale with several quaint, cozy, and private tea rooms. The owner and hostesses were all so, so accommodating. Anything we inquired about or requested was granted. We were a group of 7 ladies and 1 child celebrating a birthday. We enjoyed the 3 course tea offering. The apricot tea was delicious and not too sweet. The lemon curd condiment and the strawberry parfait were some of my favorites. They will help you celebrate any occasion, and they have many unique themes for parties. Just go!

We attended one of the monthly princess teas they offer. This is such a magical experience for little girls! My children love these events. The three course tea was wonderful and well curated to meet both a child’s palate and a separate offering for adults. Highly recommend attending at least once. The staff was beyond nice and attentive to all our needs. They do a different theme every month which keeps it exciting for return visits.

What a wonderful experience! Service was top-notch, and the various tea flavors were fabulous 👌🏽. The private space seated up to 10 and the tea sets were adorable. I will most definitely return

So sweet. We called and made reservations and they were able to get us in for lunch around 11:15. We were able to get street parking under a shady tree (very nice for Arizona) and walked up to the cutest little bungalow from 1895. Welcome signs, beautiful florals, and friendly staff greeted us at the front door. Our table was waiting for us next to a window with coffee cups as curtain tie backs. Loved the decor. The menu was simply perfect - we ordered a raspberry hibiscus tea that we shared, and they had delicious homemade dinner rolls to start. We ordered the quiche and a salad and ate every bit of it. Then we were shown the beautiful desert tray. Ahhh so amazing! We had the raspberry topped pound cake that is apparently a newer desert and it did not disappoint. Loved it!

Absolutely charming. We split a cream tea. Sandwiches and soup delicious. Homemade bread. It's cute and decorated so nicely. I wish I lived nearby. It's pricey but I'd bring all my guests. Make reservations. It was packed when we left.

The Spicery was absolutely lovely. We did the tea experience for my moms birthday and greatly enjoyed it. The old house, delicate tea cups, and doilies!! Made our time there feel like we were thrown back in history. Even my children enjoyed themselves. We will definitely be going again! Highly recommend!

Nice and quaint and friendly atmosphere. The food was great and enjoyable. Although I only had soup and salad with some fresh brewed berry tea, it was very enjoyable. I hope I can make it back to try something else. Everything looked enjoyable as I saw it brought out to the tables. Give it a try!!! They are more than happy to please here!! Oh yea and the freshly baked roll was awesome too!

The cutest tea house. Our girls loved it and the food was great. They have asked to come back for their birthdays.

Wonderful duchess tea. Everything was great especially the sandwiches, scone, clotted cream and pudding dessert. Lots to eat. Got the soup which was mushroom soup and very good. Had to take the multiple little desserts home because we were stuffed. Great choice of tea. Jasmine green tea was delicious. The house has multiple rooms each decorated with very pretty pictures and tea stuff. Service was paced very very well.

I had such an amazing experience. The atmosphere was perfect. Every Tea we tried was delicious. The food was outstanding. Ryan was our server and he was the best. Very catering to us and checking in on us. Joy was a joy lol she made our first time experience the best and more personal. Will definitely go back to try the lunch menu. Love love love ❤️

Cute home vibe. We had the Royal Tea. The scones and shortbread with Chantilly cream and lemon curd were delightful. The scone wasn't the dense crumbly type, more bread like, but very enjoyable.
The only slip in our food taste experience, I felt, was serving a savory soup after a sweet course. My taste buds did not enjoy the jarring transition, so I didn't eat it, though my friend enjoyed it. It was chicken barley.
The mixed baby green salad with candied pecans and strawberry with Raspberry vinegarette was a taste delight, but the greens needed to be torn, or a knife was needed, the lettuce was a bit unwieldy to get into your mouth without greens needing to be fork stuffed into your mouth.
The mini sandwiches: egg salad, chicken salad, & quiche, were tasty but the salads needed more seasoning. The cucumber alfalfa sprout sandwich - the alfalfa was too grassy and the cucumber was too thick of a cut, again a knife was needed.
Dessert was five bite-sized bar/cookie selections and a small cup of deliciousness; curd topped with strawberries, topped with whipped cream and crunchy sprinkles. We took the bites home, but the cup was clean.
Overall I would do this experience again. While the antiquity vibe of the place was charming, the red plastic water glasses and cheap flatware detracted from the overall time-period tea experience. The decor, plates and serving vehicles felt more of the era. Fun experience!

This delightful, creative, and unique turn-of-the-century home was converted into a quaint lunchroom with a cozy environment. It's light and bright with lots of windows, and although small, there's plenty of seating.
Gentlemen are welcome, but ladies absolutely luv this place, as it's perfect for a girls get-together. Ambiance is filled with lace tablecloths, window curtains (held back with tea cup ties), and food served on delicate tea china with attention to detail. Food's delicious and there's plenty of it. The home made rolls are one-of-a-kind and huge. Recommend the salad with strawberry & fruit and give a chance to try the "Entree of the Day". It won't disappoint. We'll return (many times again).

My daughter, husband, and I had a lovely 3 course tea time! It was really easy to make reservations, just keep in mind that they need to be placed at least 2 days in advance and the location typically closes at 2:30pm.
The location is really cozy in a modified house in history Glendale. There are quite a few table set with a beautiful tablecloth and individual place settings. Each tea cup place settings and tea pot are unique.
The staff are very friendly and attentive! If there is something you need, just ask!
They offer a special menu for children which really caters to their tastes. Also, I needed to have a modified menu for my lactose intolerance and they were very accommodating! My husband and I ordered the three course adult tea which was plenty of food!
The tea choices were abundant and we were able to choose two for our table. I highly recommend the Queen Victoria. We didn't ask for sugar or cream, but I'm sure they would provide it if you ask
Besides being super full, all of us agreed we'd love to come back. This time we'll skip breakfast.

Quaint and oh so adorable!! We were in Glendale and I looked up "restaurants near me", so glad The Spicery popped up! My friend and I had never been there. We got there just after it opened. The hostess asked us if we had a reservation, and we said no, but they were able to seat us right away. We had a sweet waitress name Megan she was dressed up like what looked like a French maid. She was so nice and knowledgeable. She told us about the ice and hot teas, and the specials of the day. We tried two specialty Iced Teas. Then we ordered the quiche of the day specials. I had a vegetable Feta quiche and my friend had a chicken taco quiche. We both loved our entrees they each came with salads and the most delicious rolls! We told ourselves we weren't going to finish the rolls because we wanted to try their desserts. They brought out an amazing looking dessert tray and told us there were only two banana cream pie slices left. So, we ended up ordering a pineapple cake and a slice of banana cream pie. We split them and they were absolutely heavenly. The hostess came around and told us about upcoming specials and events at The Spicery. There are Mother's Day and Easter events. We cannot wait to tell our friends about this place and come back as a group! As we were leaving we noticed every table was filled, it was a packed house! We went out to our car and the street was full of cars too... we came at the right time! Next time we will make a reservation. We will be back!

I LOVED this place!!!!! I took my mom here for a high tea as a birthday celebration. We will definitely return! From the quaint rooms to the sunny service, it was a delightful experience all around. The chantilly cream with their heart shaped scones were DIVINE! Their Queen Victoria tea was my personal favorite, as it paired well with every item. We sat in the pink room and loved the holiday decor. It was great to talk with one of the hostesses about London tea and see where she got her love of tea. Everyone there knows tea! It’s fabulous! Highly recommend this place!
