I love flips! Don't get me wrong, and I'm a huge fan of the finger feast. But when somebody calls and says there's in ingredients on their food that's not normally in it you should believe them and by the way we could hear you talking in the background when you put down the phone.

I always end up with the beef and fries and have never been disappointed! Good quality beef and a great bag of fries (not a smattering)…love it!!! The staff is very friendly and work well as a team!!

If you can't find it here .. you aren't looking hard enough. They have an enormous menu. I had a patty melt the first time, and a gyros the second both were good. They have a ton of creative sandwiches, and burgers. It is exactly what you want out of a local fast food joint. Not a ton of inside seating, but not a deal breaker.
I would go back again in a heartbeat.

Flips is one of the best restaurants in our Glen Ellyn area. Someone (or several of us) from our family stops at Flips at 2-3 times a week (Closed on Mondays). Some of our favorites: Italian Beef sandwich with peppers, the Greek salad, the double hot dog special, the cheeseburger, the barbecue ribs…. Their French fries are so good! AND they make glorious Shakes with many flavor choices! The staff is friendly, accommodating and efficient! You can choose between indoor and outdoor dining or carry out. Flips also provides delicious food for special catering occasions. The extensive menu allows for a wide variety of dishes to choose from. For those families who may have any food allergies just let the staff know when you order.

Flips has the best gyros hands down. Food is yummy with generous portions, service is polite and fast. The Godfather burger is also one of my favorites!

So I am finally leaving a shining review for this wonderful place which I first visited December of last year.
My family and I were on our way to the Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora but I mentioned to my wife that I wasn't interested in dining anywhere at the mall.
She mentioned she could go for some gyros so I was Googling venues on the way to our destination. There was a slight detour off of the interstates for going to Flip's before making it to Aurora but it was well worth it.
Excellent Chicago/Greek grill with tasty food in a cozy dining space, there's outdoor seating as well but it was December in the Chicago area. Extensive menu at reasonable prices and the staff are super friendly.
I live all the way up in Beach Park so I'm not sure when's the next time I'll ever make it down here. Understandably there are hundreds of Chicago grill restaurants in Chicago and the suburbs alone but Flip's definitely stands above most I've been to in Lake County.
I do love Chicago/Greek grill food and never grows old on me. Always try my best to support local and I hope for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).

I love coming here. The food is good and consistent. Service is quick. The places is always clean. The owner is always cleaning the place. I have had the gyros and hot dogs, and fries. They don't have free refills, which surprised me. Yet, I'm OK with having to pay for a refill.

Flip's is a casual Chicago food affair. They have it all from Chicago Vienna Hot Dogs, Gyros and subs. A little on the pricey side but the hot dog i had was very good and was how it should be made.
Clean and quick service, Flips is highly recommended if in the Glen Ellyn area and want a taste of the city.

The Spicy Chicken Sub is delicious, and the very best for miles.
Their gyros, hot dogs and burgers are also very good.
I have been coming here for years and they are always fast and consistent. That's why I give them 5 stars.

Tried the gym shoe sub and it was amazing. Messy but tasted so good. Got the 12" and should have stuck with the regular size. Food was made fresh and fast. Small parking lot but plenty of side street parking if needed. I'll have to stop by a few more times to try other things I saw pictures of that looked good.
