Went to Shannon's to sit in the sun! We Did! What a fun experience. Ben was a great server. Had the Snaggle Tooth IPA ON HIS suggestion and loved it! The breakfast burger and blt sandwich were to die for! Perfect afternoon!
Shannon’s is like going to Ireland without a 10 hour flight. Cozy Irish � Pub for 20+ yrs in downtown Glen Ellyn. The homemade corn beef and chips are Fabuloucity. Our server Ashley was fun and her smile set the tone for a great afternoon/ evening. Add a Guinness and you have the recipe for Irish � fare. The menu is exceptional as much as the hand poured libations.
Great food, wonderful meat (the owner has his own butcher shop), cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Boru's Chopped Salad is my fave. And you must have the chocolate mousse cake.
So cozy. Tight tables and booths, so better for groups of two or four, though they can accommodate larger tables. Lots of good food and adorable. Love the atmosphere and food options. Quality beer options from classic to craft, but not too many that it's hard to pick one. Good wine options too.

Great authentic menu and cooked to perfection! All we wanted and more! Reuben rolls, yellow tuna, crab cakes, and Stella. Staff was also friendly and attentive.
I love this place . The food is traditional comfort food. The corned beef is fantastic,and the burgers are good ! The portion sizes are good for the price . Beer is always cold and the service is great. . Desserts are all made in house and are delicious !

I got the nachos, which were good but not great. It lacked the flavor explosion that good nachos should have. Friend got the pulled pork and it was a bit chewy.
My upsidedown pineapple martini was great, though.
Service and atmosphere were good.
I wouldn't intentionally come back but I'd go if someone else suggested it.
We had a 1st Communion luncheon here for our children. Jen opened early at noon for us and was so accommodating with everything! She let us bring in a cake and was flexible with our menu choices. Great food and service! Highly recommend having a private event here!

My husband and I came and sat at the bar. Immediately the bartender and local patrons were very friendly. We enjoyed the atmosphere. I had the Shepards pie which was delicious and my husband had the Mary Murphys ciabatta steak sandwich which was even better. The bread was very soft and fresh. We will be back to try more Irish staples, and of course the authentic Guinness.
I just love this place -- my favorite spot in Glen Ellyn. The food is always good and fairly priced. The staff is friendly, too. This place is an important part of our village's booming restaurant scene -- one of the anchors.
Had the best experience at Shannon's Irish Pub! Jen, the manager, worked with me to coordinate a birthday party with ~45 guests. She was extremely helpful, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the servers were very friendly and attentive. I am very impressed and thankful. I would highly recommend considering Shannon's Pub whether you're throwing a party or just looking for a place to eat.
Went on St. Patricks Day. Place was absolutely packed, had to wait over an hour for a table. However, the staff was super nice and helpful and went out of their way to make our experience a pleasant one. I'll be back
Best burger ever! And a rather unique one, too - half ground beef, half corned beef, blended together for the most flavorful burger I've ever had, anywhere! The potato corned beef soup is really good. I've had a few other dishes such as fish-n-chips and shepherd's pie in the past, very good, but now that I've had the corned beef burger I get that every time! Service is usually very good. Atmosphere is fun, traditional wood lined pub inside. The former tent enclosure over the courtyard is gone. Good value for the price too.
In from out of town ... Got the recommendations from the locals of the neighborhood.. decided to go check it out was greeted by Renee the bartender atmosphere was great around the bar where I sat everybody was very friendly giving suggestions on what to have off the menu the dishes that came out of the kitchen smelled fabulous received my drink it was spot on ordered my dish the kitchen staff cooked the steak perfectly lot of good conversation with the locals made it very friendly warm and inviting we'll definitely be back and also recommend this place to others......5star😎💯

Great food, great atmosphere and very nice people. We've been going here for many years. Still the same great place. And they have the best fish n chips 😊 Love this place! But we do mis the canopy over the patio in the Fall, Spring & Winter months, otherwise we'd go there a lot more often. Please consider putting it back up, you'd definitely have a lot more business!
This place is wonderful, has romantic and cozy atmosphere. The service is incredibly attentive and friendly, and the food is delicious. Their house salad wasn't anything to write home about - but to be fair, I should have ordered more pub grub. The potato soup was amazing, complete with corned beef. A great place for friends!
Nice atmosphere, not too crowded. We sat in their patio which was really cute and pleasant. We got cocktails and appetizers, the mini tenderloin sandwiches were to die for. I had the French martini and my friend had a Cosmo. Both drinks were great!
