Good Lord, these tacos are so good! Very unassuming place from the outside but don't be fooled, this place is legit. Great food and portion sizes. Fresh and delicious. Did I mention they're friendly and that they keep their kitchen practically spotless? I only wish they had more space to dine-in. 😁

A few weeks ago we stopped close to closing, so we got some takeout tacos and decided the menu looked promising.
The tacos were pretty good. The carne asada was lean, fairly tender and well seasoned….and the pork “al pastor” was tender and lean. The portions and salsas were A+.
Tonight we returned for dinner.
The place is small and reminiscent of those “hole in the wall” places we love so much. However, we did not love the food we ordered.
I had the “milanesa” (breaded beef cutlet). The portion was generous and looked appetizing but lacked flavor.
I always appreciate when a dish is served with rice and beans….here, they also included a grilled nopal (cactus), grilled pepper & grilled onion! Plus, a little salad (lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, radish).
The rice & beans were pretty good…but I would have preferred refried beans. (didn’t know to ask).
My husband ordered the tostadas. We were surprised that they use diced chicken (shredded would have been more authentic)…and avocado would have been a great topping.
Would not order the milanesa or tostadas again…but will likely come back for tacos!
PS The flan was very disappointing. It was NOT rich and creamy…more like the texture and consistency of gelatin (or something water-based).

Great customer service! Very helpful for my 1st time at this establishment. I ordered to take out, when I reached home my food was still hot. I ordered myself a burrito a three tacos. Beef chicken and pork to test my odds. It was very delicious well flavorful.

Our meal and cost was $22 for 3 tacos, chips and salsa, and a $5.99 chicken quesadilla with fries (kid's menu!)
Meat is a little dry, but great flavor (like cinnamon in the chorizo) and it comes with two spicy salsas to doctor them up.
Surprisingly not greasy for street style tacos too!

The lengua tacos were delicious and well cooked. The carne enchilada was so well seasoned and had the right amount of depth to it's flavor. Definitely one of the best random hole in the wall spots.

SOOOO GOOD!!!! Way better than those over hyped, trendy places!!! These are legit tacos, no nonsense, made with love. Menudo on the menu, and tacos: Lengua, Cabeza, Al pastor, carnitas, carne asada, etc. etc. $10.50 for three tacos.
Order to go and have your own margarita or micheladas party at home!!

I can't even joke with you about this. The food GOOD. I'm talking good-good. They take their time in the kitchen to prepare good food....for regular people like me.
The beverage options...sensational.
The service...better than Chick-Fi-La.
If you go there, don't go with any tight fitted clothes on... because they will make sure you eat good.

Tijuana Tacos is sleeper!!! Their tacos are amazingly authentic!!! I had the succulent and delicious Cabeza and Al Pastor tacos! The refreshing cucumber and radish accoutrements were a nice palate cleanser in between bites. Paired with a Tamarind Jarritos this was pure taco bliss deliciousness!
Side Note: I fully intended on taking these home. I found myself smashing these off in the Wal-Mart parking lot! 🤣
