Great to have a local, friendly, neighborhood full service restaurant to go to for breakfast, lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch. We will definitely take advantage of that regularly. The ingredients tasted fresh and the food freshly prepared. I think it is a little more comfortable to eat downstairs rather than upstairs. Prices are very reasonable for these times ... $20 - $30. per person included food, wine and tip.

Awesome pan fried cornbread. And the cabbage and macaroni was so good. I just didn't care for the sweet greenbeans, but that's me. My husband did need a drink refill and the server was missing for the middle to end of our visit, so that's why I knocked off a star.

Love this place. The service has been great and everyone makes it feel like home. The food has been amazing every time I have been. Thank you for the experience. Even though sometimes everyone has been short on staff, the food and atmosphere has been so amazing.

The new items on the Sunday brunch menu are fantastic. The shrimp and grits I got were fantastic. The grits were very creamy and the seasoning on the shrimp was fantastic. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was spicy like I would expect and the fries were delicious. Not to mention the mimosas.

We were there late in the day and some of the sides were unavailable so I guess that means they were very good and obviously popular. Aubrey is a fantastic wait person. We will be back!

The food is really good! It's definitely worth a try. If you want really good food this is it. Especially around Morganton! Not a drinker but had one the best looking bars I've seen upstairs.

Small place but very clean. Waitress is always very friendly. Food is always good and they have some fun and interesting specials. My husband tried the chili mac burger and said it was excellent. Has become a favorite and worth the drive.

The new owners have come in and changed up the menu and added new items to it, all of which are terrific! The wait staff has always been wonderful. One of my pet peeves is running out of drink, that has never happened here. I am yet to find an item that I would not recommend. Keep up the good work folks!

The food here is very good. We bought our meal, and then bought what was supposed to be a chip basket for extra money (homemade potato chips) for two people but the basket only held enough for 1 person. I felt the chips were too expensive due to the fact there weren't enough chips to justify the price.
