This is very good Thai food. Busy place. Don't let the suburban strip mall site scare you - generally they scare me :) but I was staying close by... Great food. Ordering by phone can be a bit difficult due to slight differences in u spoon PDF vs. their menu, but no complaints about this place. Very nice. Sincere service. Great food. Recommend.

I was visiting from out of town, wanted some Thai and found this place on urbanspoon. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai to go and mango sticky rice ( which lady on phone said they had). I arrived early and enjoyed watching my food being cooked. The flavor was good but I thought the noodles were dry. Being that I stayed just across the street, shouldn't have been that dry. Also was disappointed that they in fact did not have mango sticky rice :-( I would go again if I'm ever in town but was a little disappointed this time
Quick friendly service. DON'T order the crab rangoon. In the single order you get 3 very small bland pieces. DO order #59, Massaman curry. Great flavor, not a huge serving like some places, but creamy and slightly spicy. Amazing.
WOW. This place is GOOD. I've actually walked in here before and walked out because it looked a little too "quick-serve" for me and I didn't think he would be very good. Well, DON'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! This was VERY GOOD. I usually get curry, drunken noodles or something with basil- here I tried the Kao Kapow and it was awesome! I'll definitely be back soon...

It's such a treat to find - in such a nondescript strip mall, no-less - one of the single most fantastic meals I've ever had in my life.

Oh wait... the REAL reason to eat here: THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Amazing food you ask? YES, Virginia, there is such a thing as amazing food & it's at Thai Flavor.
I've eaten many things on the menu but I have not tried them all. I've thoroughly enjoyed everything I ate, save 1: the ham & cheese croquettes. Ignore them... they're noise, a distraction from all that's right with this place. Ham, cheese & breading, deep fried. Not uniquely Thai & who cares anything about those ingredients? Make yerself a grilled ham & cheese. Just my opinion, but seriously - try any other appetizer & you'll be far more satisfied.
My favorite appetizers: Kanom Jeeb, Goong Hom Pha (stupid simple but SO GOOD!) Gai Satay - and I even liked the fish cakes.
All of the 4 soups are very, very good. I enjoyed them all & have probably had them too many times.
All of the jasmine rice dishes are incredible. I have to ask them to temper the spicy a bit.. some of it can be overwhelming for me. I find I can enjoy the dish better & savor all of the flavors better if it's not lip-numbing, bald-spot's sweatin' spicy. Although I must say you haven't lived until you've eaten food that makes your bald spot break a sweat.
I am not a huge fan of curry - but I thoroughly enjoyed Thai Flavor's curry dishes. Goes to show you that executed well, curry dishes are very, very good. An old dog can be taught new tricks afterall.
I feel bad only paying 10 bucks for this food, I really do. I find myself over-tipping all the time so I feel that I didn't steal anything from this place. It tastes far better than the price would suggest, These are some hard working folks, turning over table after table, preparing meal after meal for their very loyal, very hungry guests who are constantly streaming in.
All of these people can't be wrong... something special is going on here!!

Highly recommend!. If you live near Short Pump or work in Innsbrooke you have to try this small but amazing restaurant. I'm a big fan of eastern dining, and I keep coming back. The food is very aromatic and well blended. I honestly feel that for your money, your getting a much higher quality dish than expected. My favorite is the drunken noodle, extra spicey! It always fills me up and has the waitress running to fill my drink. I also recommend the spring rolls as an app; their peanut sauce is great! The only downside of Thai flavor is that like all non corporate eateries, they are not open 7 days a week!

Great Thai Food. Some of the best Thai food in Richmond. Right up there with Pad Thai in Mechanicsville but I think this place may be a little bit better. Everything I've tried there has been fresh and delicious. Not sure what it was called but #66 on the menu was off the charts. Very friendly service.
Good stuff. Had the Kao Pad Basil and it was the perfect amount of spicy for an "American hot" Thai dish. Made my nose run a bit, but could still taste the flavors. Thumbs up.

Oh my Thai! What flavor! I got the Pad Kee Mao with pork and husband got the Beef Thai Gravy Noodle. Best curry puffs but the dipping sauce was a bit sweet for me. Tom Kha Gai was very tasty, as well. I’m excited to go back a try something different. Spice level was perfect. I always go for the spiciest options and their level 3 was pleasantly hot. The beef gravy was very tasty.
I have eaten several lunches here in 2022. They are usually steadily busy but service is always friendly and attentive. I have eaten mostly vegetarian options and all have been fresh and tasty. I have limited to 'american hot' and would say the heat has been pleasant to mild. I love their eggplant based dishes so much I have not been adventurous on the menu.
This a great authentic Thai place, spicy food if you want. Can get really busy at lunch and they are closed Mondays. I often substitute cabbage in place of rice.
Update - they have moved to the other side of the shopping center. Same great staff and food but more seating. I've tried a lot of different Thai restaurants, but this place is my go-to when I'm in Richmond...try it
The food here is soooo freaking good. The chefs are magical and I love the service here too. Great portions, and decent prices. If you like spicy food, don't be afraid to get Thai spicy here, it's probably about a normal hot in my experience.
Great food, amazing service. Their Thai tea is to die for and the place is modern but keeps the Asian feel at the same time. The only thing I will say it’s their menu it’s confusing and have no pictures so if you are new to the scene that can be a deterrent to new customers.
Good place for Thai food in the area. Prices are reasonable. Small little cozy place with limited seating. Chicken flavour noodles and basil thai chicken fried rice are must try dishes on the menu. Shirley Temple is a non alcoholic favourite drink at this restaurant. Go for spice level max which is not too hot compared to other Asian places and in fact their dishes taste great with max spice levels. Only point of improvement is they could use more staff members to serve fast and better. Friendly staff. Take away is faster than dine in if you call and order in advance.
Very clean friendly service!!! Cozy atmosphere. Food was delivered super fast & fresh!! The only complaint which is minor was uncomfortable chairs. Overall great dining experience. Definitely go again!!
