Never had a bad meal from here. Staff are always friendly and portions are generous. It’s not our closest chippy but happy to travel for the quality.

Called in today on are way back home, the fish and chips were lovely. The staff were happy and the next time we are passing we will call in again.

Really good perfectly cooked chips, regular perfect size.
In addition, friendly and efficient service even when busy.
Plenty of stock in the hot counter and always busy with locals both of which is the only review you need.
Parking right outside and they take cards with no minimum purchase. I didnt have anything else at that time but it all looked delicious.

Returning to the area for a holiday we returned to Wirral Plaice as we remembered how good it was the year before. I'm pleased to say they have stayed as good as ever. Two large cod and chips cooked to perfection. Crispy batter on the cod was perfect. Thank you so much for keeping up your standards, and if we don't get back to you this year we will return in 2024.

Stayed at Travelodge. Popped down for last minute supper @8pm. Still lots to choose from in the tray beings 8.15pm close. Wasn't disappointed had fish and chips it was beautiful, really enjoyed the meal. Staff were very friendly too. Thank you all the way from South Wales.

Life savers - arrived as it was closing but all the friendly women still served as they had plenty of food left. Fabulous food and the chips were amazing!
