Right tried the now named “best chippy” tonight. Very impressed. Is much better than what the park had become.
The fish was lovely. Batter very tasty.

Under a new name 'Best Chippy' which I cant validate without visiting all the rest lol. But... Staff were very friendly and attentive and food was very good for a chippy. Only able to comment on chicken and chips but it was freshly made and tasty.

In the name of the wee man.... this place is a gold mine for great tasting freshly cooked food. A bloody gold mine!!! I am completely a returning customer to this place and so are many many others.. try the food from here you'll be pleased and like me I travel far to get food from here as it's where I want to spend my money.

Great menu decided to have a pizza as I saw it being made freshly for another customer. It was terrific so tasty with plenty of topping best pizza I have tasted. Will certainly be back again.

Absolutely superb! One of the best "chippy's" I have ever tried. Staff are always friendly and nothing is ever a problem when you ask for help. Food is always fresh and always looks great. Prices are surprisingly decent too and far cheaper than the new chip shop along the road a bit. The chips and the rest of the fried food are always to a very high standard and not "brown/dark" like a lot of other shops. Can highly recommend their fish and you've got to try one of their pizzas!! There seems to be a few negative comments on here but I'm sure those came after another chip shop (very expensive with brown chips!!)recently opened 300yrds up the road. Don't believe the negativity. Try it for yourself and believe me you won't be disappointed.

Just called in on the way home, not been here before, one of the best fish suppers I have had in recent years. Is under new management, very clean, friendly staff, good selection, some new things coming up, will definitely be using The Park again when passing this way.
