Northern Expresso

I have been here twice as I am new to the area and don't know of another coffee shop. Ist time I had Americano which was weak, I asked for another shot and had to pay, to actually taste the coffee. Today I had coffee with chocolate and milk. Again tasted like hot water with sweetner. I told the lady at the counter and she stared at me, so I asked for my money back. She left and went into the back, to ask what to do, I presume, and came back to say she could make me another. I said if your going to to the same thing it will still taste like water. She said oh no I will add more coffee. This entails the same weak drip coffee, milk and less chocolate. Now I have hot water with milk, not so sweet. I left, tried stirring it to see if that helped and threw it away. A waste of $3.30. I will not be returning. Oh and both times the counter help is unsmiling and frankly, rude. Not sure how this place gets good reviews. I would not recommend this business, to anyone.

Not a review of the coffee. No. I didn't get that far. The lady working the counter was rude in her interactions with me, terse in her answers, and overall unpleasant. For instance, she thought I was paying with card even though she never asked, and when I brought up that I was using cash she was all huffy about it and made it seem like I was the one who was causing an issue. When I left she kinda just smirked as if she really didn't care about my business or not. I was polite the whole way through and only now am I writing this review to critique this horrible customer service. Please do better
