This is my favorite sit down Mexican restaurant in the state. I judge all Mexican restaurants by their salsa and Puerto Vallarta is by far superior in this state. This is the kind of place with big platters. The kind of place where the salsa at your table never runs out. The dining room has a dark, rustic feel since they remodeled it.
My wife and I got some MONSTER margaritas. I had one of the best wet burritos I have had in a long time, and my wife had the combo with 2 enchiladas and 1 taco. We both left VERY satisfied.
The staff isn't pushy when it comes to checking up on you, but also ensures your drinks are always topped up.
