Stopped in today looking for non-fast food on a trip down Hiway 77. Oh My Goodness! Awesome food, large portions & friendly staff. Definitely a place to stop for a wonderful southern home cooked meal at a great price.

Found this place via Google search and after reading reviews decided to try it. Service was AWESOME, our server Michelle was great and her recommendations were delicious. Son's chicken fried steak was very tender and tasty. Daughter really liked her sirloin and hubby overstuffed and very happy with his gigantic fried porkchop and chilli beans. My fried catfish tasted very fresh and delicious along with very yummy sweet potatoes. After all this, we just had to try the desserts...pecan pie and peach gobbler were good but OMG! on the bread pudding! Best ever...we definitely will be back on our way to Louisiana from Austin.
