This is a magical place. The staff is fantastic. It's not the Ritz. If you want a bougie, bland experience, this isn't the place But the accommodations are unique, affordable, and clean. Because it's a sanctuary, there are protected birds, llamas, and ocelots. The history of the place is amazing. Please go there.

They took me in last minute for car camping for $20! Their facilities are much nicer than the facilities I've experienced at RV resorts and the place is exuding positive energy. The folks here are also Burners! )'(

My wife, myself, and our 2 children (2&9) stayed the night in a room with a poolside view. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed the animal tours especially getting to handle the snakes. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.

Very interesting place. There are parrots and alpacas outside that you can visit. Also a big collection of Egyptian sculptures and shrines around the guest rooms. The room we stayed in was pretty basic, bathrooms are shared. I got a college dorm feel about it. Hosts were friendly and laid back.

This place isn't for the average person, you have to have some light-heartedness and free spirit to you. It's all egyptian-themed and has a thick hippie vibe but it's perfect for a getaway and will usually be pretty empty - even on holiday weekends. We stayed in the lodge, like a hotel but each room sleeps 3 which is perfect for a girl's weekend. Right outside our door was the pool and hot tub as well as a sauna. They also have fire pits stocked with wood which was a fun little experience every night. There's exotic animals everywhere you look with a huge selection of birds (some even talk!) and even cats like ocelots. You can easily walk into town to eat dinner and party for the night, wine tasting is close and you can overlook the weird factor and really enjoy your weekend away.

This place is great! It usually has what your looking for. Depending on the season it's very peaceful or very energetic with parties and festivals! The animals are amazing and the staff cheerful and helpful. Just remember it's a retreat center and a bit rustic. It is not a 5 star resort off the coast and it not meant to be. I highly recommend it.

I have been to The Isis Oasis several times over the past couple of years. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are themed based on Egyptian Gods and Goddesses (so, a huge plus if you are into ancient Egypt), but it is dedicated to the Goddess Isis . They have a beautiful temple that can help you transport yourself back in time. The Isis Oasis is also home to some beautiful animals and birds. It is a beautiful place that can allow you to interact with others in a meaningful way.

I did not stay the night, only came for a few days. I must say, it was incredible! The peace and kindness of everyone is gushing. The animals they’ve rescued are lucky and well-loved. I watched one care-taker with one of the great peacocks. Very sweet. I did not get a chance to see Osiris the Ocelot or into the main temple because there was a class wrapping up. But my sister in soul and I spent some time in the smaller, personal temple. The decor of Ancient Egypt is more than decor, it’s a way of life, feeling, energy, and being. I met deTraci Regula and Rain. Both are gorgeous people! I already want to know them more. I have been a practicing pagan since childhood and am 32 now. It was not until this day, I felt like I belonged somewhere, like I was home. I wish I’d had more time to spend and learn. I feel there is great wisdom and peace to be gained for anyone who has the openness to find it. I will be returning! In fact, I have convinced my husband to bring all our kids up for my son’s upcoming 11th birthday in June. I cannot wait!!

I’ve been going to Isis Oasis for 4 years and will keep going for many more. The charming decor, relaxed atmosphere, climate of inclusivity, wonderful animal sanctuary and the embracing energy of the staff make it a lovely experience. Even just to go hang out by the pool and hot-tub for the day provides a sanctuary from day-to-day cares in a magical environment. The property is so much more than just a place to sleep.

We were attending a wedding here and went early so we could take the car tour. You get to meet ocelots and servals, and pet an emu. Lol they're softer than you might think! Staff was great for the most part. They only have shared bathrooms though, even for overnight guests, ok for us me but could be off putting for some

Wonderful, peaceful place, as well as calm, relaxing and pretty. The animals are well fed, the people are friendly, and many art sculptures all around! The one star reviewers honestly have no clue what they are talking about.

Just as you enter Geyserville there appears before your eyes an oasis in the desert of grape vines. Exotic cats, rescue birds, ancient trees, and a new age vibe round out the standard magic here. There is also a heated pool, hot tub, and sauna - as well as a pool table and ping-pong table for fun. Check out the website for the illustrious history of this most magical of spots.

Great place to unwind and relax for a few days. Staff is very friendly and responsive to guests needs. They also have a wonderful sanctuary to see wild cats and other animals up close. One of my favorite places in this area. Definitely worth a visit.
