I have been coming in here for years. I recently went to Metepec MX. Tanias has ceaselessly provided the most authentic food to that area that I have found. The service is wonderful and the people are friendly. Muchos gracias, Tanias, por su increíble hospitalidad y recuerdos!
We were in town for a couple of days to see the sights and decided to go here for dinner. We were so glad we did! There was no wait for a table and the food was delicious. It was just a short drive off of the main drag and seemed to be popular with the locals. It was so nice to have a break from the crowds of tourists and relax from all the hustle and bustle of downtown Gettysburg. I was quite charmed by this place and the food is A++! Thank you, Tanias!
Absolutely amazing food. Some of the best enchiladas I have had and the tacos with chorizo my wife had were absolutely delicious. By far the best Mexican I've had on the east coast.
When I was shown that there was cenina on the menu I almost lost my mind. The heavily salted meat balanced by the mild corn tortilla, it was exactly the same as the food I enjoyed when visiting friends and family down in Central Mexico. The front store section stocked snacks and foods I also had not seen in years, complete with several containers of breads and pastries that I ate by the bag during my visit.
The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, the staff is friendly, the food presentation is great: this place is just awesome!
I'm addicted to Mexican food and am a bit of a Mexican food snob. Tania's is my favorite around. Their food is so fresh and so authentic. Service is always amazing and friendly. I eat here every chance I get. Their green salsa is extraordinary!!

The food was authentic, as was the atmosphere. I ate sopes con pollo and it was everything I could have hoped for. Our waiter Jon was superb in EVERY way. I will definitely be recommending Tania's to everyone I know. I will be back for sure.
P.S. I forgot to mention the store! They have an adorable shop attached to the restaurant that sells everything from boots to fresh pastries.
Very good Mexican Restaurant. Fresh food, perfect portions and friendly, attentive staff makes this place a must try if you are in the mood for Mexican food. The location in the shopping center looks a little sketchy, but don’t let that scare you off - it’s worth it.
What a great meal outstanding flavor and great hospitality from the ownership and staff. Was pleasantly surprised with a welcomed birthday cake at the end of my meal. Top class. What a wonderful authentic Mexican restaurant. So often “Mexican” means Mexican food that has been Americanized, but not here. The food was delicious, especially the Tamale which was a real “cooked in a corn husk” Mexican style tamale! This was our first time and we will be back!
This place is amazing! I love mexican food and fell in love with it even more after visiting Mexico. Tania's is some of the best Mexican I have had in the states. I highly recommend the queso fundido with pork and the horchata. I am very picky with horchata and this one is just right, not too much cinnamon and just the right amount of sweetner. I had their chilaquilles which were delicious but they did not include eggs in it which I would have loved. I will be back and asking for eggs in it next time. Friendly staff and I love their little grocery market attached to the restaurant.
We were a party of 15 that came on a Saturday night. We changed our party size from 7 to 12 to 15 and Tanya was very accommodating! We came close to when the restaurant closed but they still got everyone’s orders in. We had a couple people with dietary restrictions but everything came out perfectly and everyone was happy with their meal. Thank you for the welcoming service and great experience!
Absolutely the best Mexican restaurant I've been to in the last few years. You enter through the grocery section, the restaurant is just past it. Very clean, great staff (family owned and operated), highest quality service and food.
We had tacos and they are tasty and authentic. Don't bother comparing them to a fast food chain taco, these are superb. The complementary chips and salsa is just as they should be- Mexican. Chips are made there and served hot. Salsa is medium hot, and is delicious. The menu is extensive and written in both Spanish and English. I like that.
Definitely recommend and definitely coming back.
