We were looking for a cute place to have brunch and this was the perfect place. We were able to sit on the tables outside with our dog and enjoy the food. They even provided a plastic bowl of water for our dog. Great place and friendly people!
I always judge a coffee shop by its latte. I must say, this was by far the best tasting half vanilla half caramel whole milk latte I've ever had the distinct pleasure of sipping! I'm glad I made it one of my quaint downtown stops!
What a find on the square in Gettysburg! A bakery specializing in rustic European breads, pastries, savory and sweet tarts, cookies, soups, sandwiches and beverages. Homemade, homegrown and handcrafted delicacies. A very special cafe and bakery by a baker with an artist’s touch.
My husband and I were in Gettysburg over the Christmas holidays and found this gem. This is the first bakery that makes sourdough from a fermented starter so I can eat it. Being gluten intolerant this makes me very happy. I will be in Gettysburg a lot come February. Can't wait!!

Hands down, THE best hidden gem in Gettysburg!! My husband and I always get the adult grilled cheese. Best one we've ever had!! Everyone is so pleasant, food is great, drinks are great, atmosphere is great. You really can't go wrong!!!!
Best bakery par none.. No one comes up with better baked goods then Sheila.
If you haven't been to Gettysburg Bakery you don't know what your missing. They have the best food, the baked goods, soups and even sandwiches. Don't wait another second go now!!!!
We stopped in yesterday and enjoyed the most delicious croissant -chocolate and a morning roll. We'll be dreaming of those fluffy, buttery yummies for a while....the apricot almond bread is top notch too!
Excellent sticky buns and 'why didn't i buy more' shoofly muffins... We have yet to try the bread, but i am sure it will be equally as delicious. The shop is lovely and the staff is polite and friendly. I look forward to coming back for another visit.
We tried the potato focaccia, apple tart and rustic tomato soup. They were all wonderful!! Very friendly staff and quite a variety of menu items.

Pretty much everything is great. Their gourmet Ho-Ho cupcake is amazing. Be warned, though, that their chicken salad has raw onion in it (gasp!)
This is a must stop for me when I'm in Gettysburg! Excellent pastries, baked goods, breads. And I had lunch there. Which was just as wonderful!
This is my new favorite spot to eat in Gettysburg! Simple ingredients done perfectly! I loved the atmosphere as well. The perfect place to grab a quite lunch, settle down and write your next novel, or pick up a perfect loaf of bread.
Super busy this morning but they never once made me feel rushed. I've been coming in for years, and can't recommend the mushroom bisque, chicken potpie hand pies, and morning rolls enough ✨ The proof is in the pictures - our whole family enjoys! Be sure to pay this Gettysburg gem a visit.
I have visited multiple times since discovering in January 2021, my goodness, it is wonderful! The bakery is small with a small area for seating. There are various bread offerings, pastries, sandwiches and desserts. You will find wonderful coffee and tea selection as well. Every product I have tried is extremely good, high quality and well executed. The staff are friendly, kind and able to make some adjustments to things like sandwiches they offer. Oh my, you don't want to miss this place.
Wow! If you’re looking for something simple, delicious and quick- this is the place. Always greeted with a friendly face, the breads, pastries & sandwiches are delicious. Love their tomato soup & actual avocado slices (not spread). Potato salad is fabulous! I wish more restaurants were like this in the area. So clean and reliable! Our only criticism is we wish they were open for longer hours. If you want to stop by after work, you’re out of luck. Give it a try! You’ll become a regular! One note- they close for the month of January to give their employees a much needed break after the holidays and reopen in February.
Really tasty breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Croissants were really lovely. Sandwiches were good too.
We love this small bakery. Stopped in thus morning for a coffee and some pastries. They recommended 3 pastries that we bought to share for a brunch picnic. They also made us a fresh cappuccino.
First off the pastries are out of this world delicious. They are perfectly sweet and playful--not too sweet and buttery flakey. Secondly, this cappuccino was so smooth, robust, and creamy. Nothing overdone and the milk was exactly frothy. Excellent baristas! Finally, the staff is amazing. So friendly and seem to really love what they do.
This is a must stop in Gettysburg! Grab a few treats and reward yourself after a hike! Definitely worth it! I really hope to visit this bakery when we come back.

We had placed an order for 2 loaves of rustic french and I loaf of cranberry walnut bread.
We are both sick and didn't want to go pick it up and possibly get them sick.
The owner (I didn't catch her name) was SO very sweet and offered to drop it off at our home. That is great customer service!
The bread we got was the most delicious we have ever had!
To the owner, you were so kind and helpful! We will now get bread from them at least once a week! Merry Christmas to the young lady who I talked to on the phone and to the owner! Amazing people!❤️
