The hard ice cream here is great, you can definitely tell it’s homemade. I didn’t get a chance to try the soft flavors, but I got to try Ghost Tracks and Thin Mint. I enjoyed both. The service was quick and the servers were pleasant. The little gift shop is also great with many unique gifts like ice cream scented soy candles, jars of honey, home decor, sweatshirts and t-shirts, and other Gettysburg themed gifts.

Mr G’s ice cream is one of my favorite. It’s very creamy and not very sweet. They have different flavors to choose and they also have different flavors for milkshake. I think they have a gift shop too, if you want to buy some souvenirs. I highly recommend Mr G’s ice cream.

I got the peanut butter cup McFlurry and it was super tasty. The kids got three different flavors of homemade ice cream and it was all fantastic. The oldest boy got the strawberry shake and said it was the best shake he's had all year.

An amazing place to cool off with a delicious homemade frozen treat! The homemade ice cream at Mr. G’s was fantastic and hit the spot after a hot day of touring around Gettysburg. The available flavors change daily but the few we tried were all delicious. Mr. G’s also has soft serve and blended ice cream treats. There is also a nice little gift shop in the rear of the lot.

After a long day visiting Gettysburg, this place was like a heaven to us, emmmmm, Creamy homemade ice cream…..the ice cream shop itself is so cute too, one can sit outside on benches with soldiers statues around you……yummy yummy yummy, absolutely yummy. There is a small gift shop right next door with some very cute gift, just following ice cream cones on the ground :D well, enjoying the ice cream first and then go :D :D

After dinner we took a nice little stroll. We happened to see Mr. Gas ice cream and decided to stop. Both of us got waffle cones with twist. Everything was so good and since there is a little park next door we decides to sit there in the breeze. The staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

Nothing beats cool ice cream on a warm summer's day. But that's not the only excuse necessary to get some Mr G's ice cream. In a building that has seen it's last several companies only survive for three years max, Mr. G's has broken that trend going into its fourth year. It's easy to see why one you've tasted the delicious and very creamy treats Mr. G serves up. The staff is incredibly helpful, and patient which is important because they offer a variety of flavors to choose from. Mr. G, the owner, is a very friendly and walks around to talk to guests when he can. Such a great place to go, and I can't wait to go back for more.

Excellent Ice Cream for a good price. This has got to be the best treat in Gettysburg, we stop here every time we are in town. Homemade ice cream is far superior to any found in the other ice cream shops in town which all sell products mass produced by someone else, and, the prices are not much, of any, higher than that charged for the inferior ice cream. Our dog, who loves ice cream, is also very pleased that they always supply him with a free dish of soft serve. If I have one complaint it is the lack of sugar cones. I prefer my ice cream from a cone, but "cake cones" are too much like the Styrofoam used for the dishes, and the waffle cones are needlessly large and expensive. Oh well, I'll get by with a spoon rather than forgo this delightful treat.

Great ice cream and hospitality!. Wonderful homemade ice cream and waffle cones (I had the black raspberry). We talked to some people who lived in town who agreed it was the best place to go--half the price of the other ice cream shops, and with ice cream just as good if not better. Also, the owner was there, saw we were ghosthunting, and took us on a tour of his building. We'll be stopping here on every trip from now on!

We stopped in for some icecream. We stayed for the history! The staff at this fine establishment could NOT have been nicer. They offer sample tastes of any of the HOMEMADE icecream made on premises ( DELISH) and you can have it in a FRESH, HOMEMADE waffle cone if you like. The owner, 'Mr. G' was also on hand and offered a tour of the building which is STEEPED in history. His work on the property has been a true labor of love,and it shows! I can't express enough what a great experience our visit was. I will go back whenever I'm in the area and I will send all of my friends. I love you ALL at MR. G'S AND OF COURSE.....THE ICECREAM!!!!!:)

Awesome. Mr. G's is a must visit when visiting Gettysburg. The ice cream is great. More important the atmosphere and hospitality from the owners is unbelievable. This became the highlight of our trip. Plan to return for ice cream everyday while we are visiting.

Awesome. My husband and I loved the ice cream. He had the black rasberry and I had the pumpkin. They make their own waffle cones. I wish we lived closer to have it all the time. As we live in Scranton, PA. The owner is awesome. I was saying it was my birthday on Oct. 9th and he paid for my order. So nice. Thanks for the awesome service and the awesome ice cream. We will be back when we visit again.

Love this place! The owner is amazing, after taking a Ghost Tour of Gettysburg, we lingered outside the ice cream parlor and started talking to a gentleman, it turned out to be the owner. It was after closing but he took all ten of us on a tour of his building. He spent a half hour telling us the history of the building. The next day we came back for ice cream snd was as equally impressed with the I've cream as we were with our tour the night before. We highly recommend Mr. G's for their deliciousness abd amazing customer service.
