I may have just found my new ramen spot! I usually travel all the way to Rockville to get my tonkatsu craving in, but what I had today was super delicious!!! My boyfriend ordered a couple different sushi rolls, each also very good! So glad we decided to try this place out for dinner. We will definitely be back and will recommend this place to family & friends ☺
This place is delicious! I highly recommend! Shrimp and veggie tempura was scrumptious and cooked to perfection and sushi fresh and tasty.

If you're in the Gaithersburg or Germantown you have to check this place out! Sushi is out of this world and the authentic ramen is craveable. We've visited twice and two weeks. Our new favorite spot!
Great place for Ramen, been to Maki in Rockville they put more meat but the flavors Zane are unbelievable! Def coming back again very soon!
We legit order here two or three times a month. The food here is always tasty and affordable. :) You also get a lot for what you pay!
The broth!!!! Every single element of my ramen tasted amazing. And then the broth was so rich bit balanced and tied it all together. ( also my husband loved his sushi)
8/26/2023: a nice sushi and ramen shop in Germantown with a mind for nicer decor. The chashu miso ramen was pretty good for America. We had 4 basic sushi rolls that I rate in the 7-8/10 range. We plan on returning and trying some of the premium rolls next time.
For decent fare, skip quickway and endulge in a quaint Ramen sushi joint a quick zip from the Clarksburg outlets. They have fried soft shell crab! And other standard inflation fighters without the crowd. Then hit up the wine store next door and grab some liquor for wino's sake!

Germantown has a gem in its midst. We were a large group on 12 and the waitress was amazing and helpful. We were looking at the vegetarian options as we only eat Halal meat, but the waitress mentioned that the owner started buying halal chicken so all staff can partake and eat. It was madness after that as we went crazy ordering all the chicken items.

All of the food was great and we loved it. Highly recommended as this is a rare Japanese restaurant with halal food options. Go eat!
Great vegan options including sushi rolls, maki rolls, edamame, salad and veggie bento box. Confirmed with staff that the tempura does not contain eggs or milk.
Staff were friendly and the atmosphere in the restaraunt was nice and quiet. Prices are excellent
I was craving some spicy food, and this place was perfect. The food tastes really good as well. The waiters are nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place!
If you’re looking for a place with fresh and authentic foods I would recommend Kin Japanese and Thai. I was told by the young manager that they flew in a real Thai chef! My favorite dish is a the Pad Ka Pow with chicken and a side of miso soup!!

Delicious Curry Ramen. Rich & spicy with excellent texture. Chicken drumstick was fall-off-the-bone good. House salad had good flavor with a variety of vegetables (carrot, tomato, cucumber, lettuce). Will definitely return!

I had the miso ramen and pan-fried pork gyozo. Quiet place, but good food. The soy sauce soft boiled eggs were a great touch, as was the bok choy.

This place is consistently amazing! The decor is so nice: clean and modern without being sterile, elegant without being alienating. And I haven’t had a single meal here that’s disappointed me. The unagi bento box is phenomenal, the avocado salad is a perfect combination for taste & texture, the zane roll is mind blowing...took my girlfriend here on a date and she was delighted with the presentation of her dragon roll. I also tried the salmon skin roll, which I’d never had before, and it blew me away. Don’t even get me started on the mango sticky rice or the iced green tea latte!! I’m in recovery for anorexia and the atmosphere and delicious food here are honestly working wonders to repair my relationship with food, it’s on my list of ‘safe’ feeling places to go eat—I’d consider that pretty substantial endorsement! ;)

We were in a sushi mood but wanted something more reasonably priced. Zane fit the bill, so we ordered online for pick up.
Everything was really good! We got Alaska Rolls, Udon Soup, the spicy sauteed noodles, panang curry, and a specialty roll. The Alaska Rolls were different from the usual, and instead had salmon, crunch, and spicy mayo, but were REALLY tasty. The udon broth had good flavor and a ton of vegetables. The panang was good too, just the right level of spicy. The sauteed spicy noodles were listed as udon, but what came was a wide rice noodle. We were kind of hoping for the udon, but the spicy garlic sauce was really good, so we couldn't complain.
Over all it was a really great meal and I think this'll be my new go-to for "close to the house" sushi! There are other amazing places I love for sushi, but 10 minutes away beats driving to Rockville or silver spring.

Best Sushi, Japanese and Thai food in Germantown! Drunken Noodles are a hit! Great place for business lunches, fun date night dinners, and casual eats with friends.
If you're not a fan of raw fish, there are many cooked entrees on the menus. Lots of safe choices, plus a few spicy, edgy Asian plates.
New opening, not yet too busy, but that may change as word gets out about how the good the food is.
Service is prompt and with a nice smile.
