Went hungry after a hike at a mid afternoon time. It was still busy around 2:00 with a short wait. My friend and I ordered separately from the lunch and breakfast menu. I can speak to the breakfast, a great texture/consistency to the gravy and the bacon was perfect! Coffee was still good in the mid afternoon as well. It was worth a stop and would enjoy the patio if you have the option to.

This place was only ok for me. There was a wait on a Monday around noon (Indigenous Peoples' Day), which tells me it's one of the better restaurants in this small town. They were out of their signature meatloaf by the time we got seated, but the half of the egg/bacon/waffle entree was solid and the chicken sandwich on a croissant was fine as well. Nothing to write home about but everything tasted pretty much as you expect. Very reasonable prices as well, our bill for the 2 above items was $22.
Service was really kind albeit a little slow—I think the kitchen had a backlog. Patio seating is nice and good social distancing indoors!

We stopped here for brunch in the middle of a long travel day. I absolutely loved this place. The service was excellent, with an attentive and patient server. They bring a carafe of water with cups when you are seated. The waffles were so good! Thick, with the center having a "still warm from the oven baked good" texture. Their butter was delicious, and they gave plenty of it. The bacon was great, and my particular 7 year old ate all of her scrambled eggs and half my bacon. My husband had a chili with the cheddar jalapeño bread that's baked there. The bread was so good; we bought a loaf to bring to our relatives' house. The only downside is the restrooms need more lighting and updating, but they were clean and maintained. There is a parking lot right across the street, and the restaurant is located in the picturesque historic downtown area. It looks like something out of a movie. If you're in the area, definitely come here and then check out the nearby shops and buildings. I can't wait to go back.

Good food and a cute atmosphere. The prices are good. They only had one server and one cook with pretty steady traffic. My server was so kind despite running her @$$ off, including seating, bussing and cashier. Some people were being kind, but some were really awful. Be nice to the hard workers showing up and stop giving city folks a bad name. Tip well, be patient and gracious.

I went here with a group of 9 people so they did very well. We told our waitress immediately that we were gunna split the checks a couple different ways (we had three groups of couples). Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. There was one mix up where my friend should've gotten biscuits and gravy but got something else. The only reason I am leaving three stars as opposed to 4 was for my food. I ordered the vegetarian burrito and I am vegan so I took off the cheese and sour cream. I asked to add black beans so I could have a little bit of protein. When I received the burrito it was topped with a lot of black beans. I assumed there was a miscommunication and they had done the black beans on the outside. Instead there weren't any of the other ingredients. It was literally just beans. Both on top and inside. I ended up asking for the Jessie which was good but I ate after all my friends.

A really pretty small diner. Great food, good service, and reasonable pricing. (Get the hot cider it's amazing) and you can get a half portion for the kiddos.

Stopped on Tuesday afternoon for lunch. They were quite busy as there aren’t many places open in this little town. Waited about 45 minutes. We browsed through the village shops and finally received a text that our table was ready. They only had ONE waitress. She did remarkably well considering. I ordered the mountain high meatloaf for myself and my friends both ordered the quiche. My friends both agreed their salad and quiche were good. However, the meatloaf was TERRIBLE! Seasoned with LOTS of rosemary this made the dish inedible. I do love rosemary, but found the combination of hamburger and rosemary not tasty ! They were people around me who ordered breakfast items that looked good.

Awesome little hometown restaurant. Friendly staff and great food. Saw some iffy reviews but considering they were right after everything was opening up I took that into consideration. Alot of businesses were stressed out from being closed. I'd go back but we were visiting RMNP for the week and we live 4 states away. Try it, you'll like it.
