Thai Garden Restaurant

Our year of Thai food brought us to Thai Garden. We started with Thai Rolls and Fried Dumplings. Both were good, crispy and flavorful. My husband loved his Drunken Noodles. I had Pad Basil Tofu and it was wonderful! Light sauce...NO cornstarch gunking it up....and the vegetables were fresh & crunchy. We were allowed to add spice so if you want spicy, ask them. We went with Medium spice and it was that build up heat that, in my opinion, is just right. I call it the 2 glasses of water heat. We also ordered to go for our kids Yellow Curry chicken and tofu. I tasted the sauce & loved it! Lots of coconut milk, great spicy heat. They do include pineapple. We love pineapple 🍍 4 entrees and 2 appetizers was $54. The portions are huge! We will definitely be back!

I ordered carryout and got the Drunken Noodles with shrimp. They were good but a little less than great. I never care for having to remove shrimp tails in my food and that was needed here. Just seemed like they needed something and were a little... greasy somehow. But the owners are wonderful and service top-notch! Will try something else next time.

The people who work there are so nice and the portions are very large, but...the food is oily and bland. I got a little spice added to my noodles and they put it in a dollop in the corner for me to stir in myself which was kind of hard to do in the container, I wish they would have stirred it in. The flavor of the noodles was VERY subtle, which I could have overlooked a little easier had they not been so incredibly greasy that there was a small puddle of oil left when I finished. I feel bad leaving a negative review given they were so kind, but this was barely thai food.

This place is amazing! Try the drunken noodle! It's great! Also the rice cake desert is really good too. The service was really good. The restaurant is a small house thats been converted. Really cool atmosphere. Also very clean! They consistently score 100% on their health department inspections. If you're in the Georgetown area and enjoy Thai food this place is a must!
