Review Jaiwai Thai Kitchen - Georgetown

If you are looking for decent Thai food in the Georgetown, Cedar Park, Leader, Round Rock area, consider this place. We ordered takeaway. Food was good, portions were decent and prices were reasonable - Based on reviews, I was really looking forward to a nice, thick Thai curry - it was more watery than expected - similar to what I have seen at other restaurants in this area. Our children liked the Pad See Ew. Would go back but ask for thicker curry next time. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being best… Food - 8 Service - 8 Atmosphere - 8 Value - 9

The service is very quick, friendly and happy to answer questions. It is good Thai Food. I would not say it is the best I have ever had, but good and I will be back again as they have a wonderful and large menu...so many choices. Location is Excellent!! Right off the main Georgetown square. Nearby are places to shop, drink, hear music and walk. Highly recommend.

We have been hitting this Thai restaurant for years, maybe under its third ownership? The food has maintained its delicious taste, clean look and good prices. For some reason Thursday the service was very slow. Nevertheless, we will go back. We had shrimp Hawaiian, papaya salad and chicken with veggies. We usually have soup and pad thai but we took it easy. Great place to eat. Update: 12/2019. Hit the local place again. The servers are very friendly, smile a lot, and keep the place clean. The food again was spot on. Clean, great presentation, and tasty. We had an assortment of veggie dish, larb with beef and garlic chicken, in addition to other appetizers. Definitely going back. Updated: 12/2020: Visited again. The tables are spaced apart. I think they can accommodate five parties. I am not sure who owns the place as it looked like new people again. We ordered beef ginger and yellow curry as entrees, plus golden bag appetizers along with tom yum soup. The food was good. The pot of soup comes in a bowl now, not a fire burning pot. The service was good. Update: Sept 10, 2021. Yummers. Everything was great. The portions appear to be larger. The papaya salad was a beautiful plate.

First time takeout. Very authentic Thai style cooking. The green curry is tasty, thick coconut creme and generous portion of ingredients too. Basil fried rice is tasty, but the rice is kinda too soft. Would give 5 stars if the cooked rice grain texture is firm.

Was hoping for fresh spicy Thai food, but it was more like Indian. Ordered level 5 spicy on all but only one dish had heat. Rice, rice and more rice. Expensive for what you get...unfortunately tasted more like Tarka.

One of the best Thai restaurants ever, such flavorful food. Be daring & try a different dish each time, your taste buds will thank you. Get there early for space is limited & lines are usually long around lunchtime. Also, the place closes around 3 or 5 for a Fiesta & reopens later for the evening count until around 9 p.m Check the website to be sure.

Nice little place! Food is average at best. Like most Thai restaurants in the us they add WAY too much sugar to the meals

This place has the freshest tasting food ever. I absolutely love the Chicken and Basil fried rice. The lunch special is a great bargain with soup, egg roll, and your dish of choice.

Nothing fancy - and that ok by me, the food is what matters and it’s good. Variety of Thai dishes, yet I find that I choose from just a few cuz I like them so much. The Papaya salad is the bomb!

I'm vegan and they make me the best can pad Thai I have ever had. Plus it's super hard to find vegan options in town and this place is very good about having many vegan dishes to choose from!:)

This was the best Thai food we've had since moving here from Seattle 15 years ago. The peanut sauce is fantastic. The service was acceptable but not 5 stars. We will definitely go back.

I wish there where 2 ways to review. The food is excellent. The management needs to make some critial adjustments. 1. If your hours are open til 3 pm or 9 pm. Do not close kitchen early. Do not have your wait staff tell customers its closing within 15 mins prior to closing. 2. Do not pull out heavy odor smelling cleaning supplies while uour clients are still eating in the dining. The smell destroys the lovely aromatic fragrance of your food and affects the experience and abiance of the dining experience. 3. If egg drop soup is consistently ran out on Tuesdays , increase the amount you make. I have been here over a dozen times its has been sold out. Its so delicious it should be a regular menu item. 4. If you consider the list income daily from closing down early I would venture to say you are losing thousands of dollars. Also adding the popular item would generate addition revenue. #foodie
