Hebert's Specialty Meats

Newly open Hebert's on Jefferson Hwy. Went to check them out the other day since I live across the street. And it was lunch time. My husband told me I was crazy to walk across Jefferson at that time of day, so he went with me, yep he is as crazy as I am. We risked our lives and got across the very busy street. And it was well worth it. If you haven't tried it, it's a must. The staff was very helpful. The selection of meats was amazing. We bought a box meal and two pepper jack egg rolls delicious. We are planing to go back next week after we empty our freezer. And stock up on there meats. Great find. So glad We took the risk to check them out.

I don’t know what is going on here but lately the selection has been bare. Went in today and there is NO BOUDIN! The case with hot food is completely empty. No boudin packaged in the coolers either, not even frozen!!! The young guy at counter said “Thats not a me question that’s a manger question” when we were surprised they didn’t have any in the store. We are huge fans of your store but this was another disappointing trip.
