Big Daddy's Barbeque

Looking for a BBQ spot that sold TURKEY tips 😍 and the sides were good, except the macaroni, it was okay. They have a Sunday special with 1 meat, 3 sides, drink, and small peach cobbler. The peach cobbler was in a small sauce container and very runny. Next time I’m definitely going to try the banana pudding. They said the wait would be 20 minutes but I’m sure I only was there for 10-12 minutes.

My favorite BBQ in Gary. However I know from experience this location can do so much better than my yesterday 12/18/20 after work experience between 5:15pm call in to pickup waiting until 6:00 only when at the register a second time asking for a refund because the young lady at the register refused to bag my order sitting on the counter from the time I had arrived with many other call in order. She told me twice her job was to take new orders as people came in. The tips were hard & overcooked with very little sauce not enough for the undercooked fries. I KNOW IT CAN & HOPEFULLY WILL BE A BETTER CARY OUT EXPERIENCE IN THE FUTURE. I will try again.

To say that the food here is great would be an absolute understatement! Everything that I have ever had is delicious. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. But what is just as awesome is the EXCELLENT customer service that you receive as soon as you walk in the door and the assistance that is given from ALL staff. I live in another state but always make sure I always stop here. I have yet to receive bad service. I Will Be Back! 💜

This is what you want to happen to you, when you take a chance and try out a new barbecue restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the favor they have going on in this place! The portions are on point, everything was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I will definitely be back and I've already told a friend! Yummy Yall!

One of the staff there was very unprofessional. It took longer for my food to be ready than I was told so I asked that employee what the status of my order was, was told "I have no idea" and rather than asking one of her coworkers, she just turned her back and ignored me thereafter. The food tastes great, but their prices for the portions you get are simply ridiculous. Again, the food tastes great, but the high prices, small portions and unprofessional staff members just aren't worth going there.
