Monterrey Taquerias

A MUST TRY !! I'm French and currently living in NYC but have had my fair share of Mexican food. I stopped into this little Mexican restaurant during a short trip to Texas and was amazed. The food was delicious, very flavorful, and generous. The homemade tortillas were excellent. The tacos were the best I've had. Also make sure to try their menudo dish it's very good 👍 The salsa verde was perfect ! On top of that the staff was very nice and welcoming 🙏 I recommend everyone stop and enjoy this fantastic and authentic Mexican restaurant 🇲🇽

So a co-worker told me to try this place because it was so good. Well, not my experience at all. I got one taco, because she said I just had to try it, and a quesadilla plate. I am giving 2 stars because the portions were decent and the price was fair but after that...The taco was very dry and tasteless had to add sauce to it to give it some flavor. The quesadillas were mushy and lackluster, so much so after two bites, I could eat any more. Beans plain, nothing special, rice very dry and unappealing. All in all would not eat here again and my co-worker owes me my money back.

What a great little hole in the wall spot! The items are fairly priced. I had a taco plate and a burrito. Both were great but the rice was quite plain. Nonetheless - 5 star! 3/14 Update - Got a burrito under new dos bros name and was extremely salty and inedible. Leaving for owner to read and acknowledge so the business knows. 3/23 Rating updated due to no response from business.
