In my search for local Thai food in LA I stumbled upon this hidden spot within a one way plaza strip with limited parking space. Highly recommend calling in advance to place your order as I waited some time for classic pad thai noodles & soup. Staff was friendly and quite knowledgeable about head chef Alice who studied in Thailands' top culinary school and was quite excited to try her unique recipes. Went with the classic Pad Thai Noodles with beef, sticky rice & Wonton Soup with egg noodles. I really enjoyed the non-sweet sticky rice in the wonton soup instead of the egg noodles, I would have loved if the wontons were pork and not chicken as the soup had a little too many chicken chunks already. Otherwise great broth. The beef in the pad thai could have been thinly sliced as they were quite thick & chewy. Nothing special about their Pad Thai Noodles, as a matter of fact I felt like they were missing something, leaving Thai Noodle King in Bellflower as my top favorite restaurant for homestyle thai cooking. Looking forward to visiting this place again and trying new dishes in the near future.
