Review Un Rincon Centro Americano - Garden Grove

It's an older building so it needs some little upkeep but. It's small space. The food is great. The pupusas are delicious I always get the chicharron with cheese. They're piping freaking hot, even after 30 minutes after they've been picked up they're still super hot yet. But they're delicious tasty and homemade. Service is great They're always friendly when I'm placing my orders. Definitely need to visit them they're good

This place has the very best Pupusas in OC! No one else can make it like them. Believe me I've tried around several places. Also they have the most generous portions of their soups (caldos). They also have fried chicken that is so delicious and crispy! If you ever get a chance to visit this place and try their food, you wont regret it. Great little place. Food didn't take long. Ordered the 2 piece fried chicken, pupusas, platano frito and tamal de elote. Everything tasted great. šŸ‘

The pupusas here are the best Iā€™ve ever tasted. They have a soft texture, & you can taste the freshness. They have a wide variety of dishes on their menu. Come here for a 5 star experience in pupusas & other Central American flavors šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„

My favorite place love their food and flavor of everything. Everything is made in house & itā€™s fresh. Iā€™d definitely recommend this place. Been coming here for over a decade.

Some of the Best Pupusas in town!!! We ordered ChicharrĆ³n con Queso & Queso Con Loroco - all made of rice.... they were really delicious, almost like the ones made back home šŸ˜€ They also sell ā€œfresco de MaraƱonā€ which is always hard to find. The staff was very friendly too. Definitely coming back

I love their pupusas Revueltas are my fave! The cashiers are very nice. If you are dining in remember to order before you leave your home, due to some dishes take longer. Just tell them you will be dining in they will take your phone number and will tell you how long it will take. Remember these dishes are made as you order . But it is worth it.

Nice and friendly service. The chicken was soft and fresh and the coleslaw really is the closest one to the original "salvis" one. Lol. The"nuegados" are the bomb! They serve them with a sweet plantain sauce, yummm! It comes with "chilate" and its exactly like the salvadorean one. The pace is clean and they have a lot of salvadorean products like chips and sweets/ sweet rolls. They use to make the chicken similar and really close tasting like pollo campero, but it won't taste like it any more, but still it's really good! Recommended.

As a salvadorian myself, we hunt for authentic food and I'm happy to report we found it. The pupusas we great and the caldo was so tasty it reminded me of my grandma's. My only complaint would be the size of the tables their so small we needed to use two. So I'd say take this to go if your close by and enjoy it at home and pretend you made it ;)

Pupusas were really tasty, curtis was quite spicy but good. All the workers were friendly and helpful! Will definitely go back!

I was sceptical to go to this pupuseria after the bad quality of food a experience I had a couple of years ago but I'm glad I gave them a second chance. Their cook must have changed because their pupusas are amazing now! Every tiny crevice in that circle from heaven is filled with gooey cheese and perfectly seasoned refried beans. Unfortunately for me I can never eat more than one because they are big and quite filling. The price for pupusas last I checked was between 2.25 and 2.50 depending on the fillings. If you're feeling adventurous and want to try something other than the pupusas try their chicken soup. They ask you if you want the chicken inside the soup or grilled. When you ask for it grilled they serve it on the side grilled with some rice along with a couple of hand made tortillas. Now a note on their drinks, they are a little on the sweet side but you can always ask for a cup of ice on the side and water it down. My favorite drink is their ensalada. It's a fruit punch with small pieces of cut up apple, pineapple and cashew fruit (maraƱon) along with others that I couldn't quite recognize but are delicious nonetheless. If you order the horchata don't expect mexican horchata which is made from rice. Their horchata has more of a chocolate taste and is equally as delicious.

Pupusas and their grilled shrimp were delicious. Shrimp were thoroughly cleaned, but had shell to preserve flavor and the vegetables it was cooked with were savory. Authentic central American horchata was dark and full of morro flavor.
