Wow! My first visit to Mae’s Cafe left me eagerly anticipating a return. It's a family restaurant with a charming old-school vibe. Everything was exceptionally delicious; I couldn't believe it. Their secret sauce, resembling a lighter version of thousand island dressing, and the crispy, flavorful fr
The most welcoming from a family own restaurant is the BEST place to dine. From attentive staffs and services; my yummy foods were delicious. Mahalo. P.S As I walk into Mae’s entrance and onto counter seating today; I had the Hawaiian vibe spirits. Perhaps the guests I’ve seeing in Hawaii. Aloha 🌺
Second time there in about a week! Mae's never fails. Food is just as we remember it from back in the day ❣️ Great memories of family breakfast's there when we still had the majority of the family. Went in to dine & as always, it was delicious 😋😋😋
Good old fashioned diner food, can't go wrong with any of the menu options. I had the special of the day and tried their meatloaf sandwich. Very filling, gravy and fries were great. Kind of rushed when it came to service but they did check up on me multiple times. I gotta come back here and try out
OMG!!! The Lyonnaise potatoes are so good!!! I would go everyday just for those. Patty melt was OK. Hubby had the liver and onions and liked it. Dad had a cheeseburger and like his. Our server lady (I think her name was Ann) was super friendly and very attentive. We enjoyed our visit and will sur
OK let’s lower your expectations here. I gave them five stars all around but it’s a diner, so come in with that expectation. It’s a diner from my childhood and it still feels that way inside. In all honesty I’ve been coming here for maybe 15/16 years. Half of my lifetime. I used to come here late ni
Food was awesome, Highly recommend the John Wayne Breakfast. Service was lacking, i had my coffee poured while another server came, dropped my check off, and say if we needed to go boxes. I had just gotten served, but the food tasted so yummy i will b back
Came to Mae's Cafe for lunch. It has an old diner vibe to it with stools at the bar and plenty of booths. They have the full menu available all day, so you can have breakfast for dinner and vice versa. Our server was great and very attentive. We came during a slow window so our food didn't take long
My grandparents and I love coming here for breakfast. Place gets super busy really quickly though. Service is awesome and quick. I love that they can accomadate my grandmas dietary restrictions. I've not had one problem with this place.
Good food, affordable, nice portions, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The chicken fried steak was insanely tender and juicy, and the Tijuana Scrambled was a great combination of flavors. The biscuits and gravy was just mediocre, mostly cuz it's not sausage gravy, but that's the only "complaint" we
Mae's cafe is vintage ole school coffee shop. Home style cooking and hearty portions. Very friendly and doting staff. Thanks for keeping the coffee full. Did not disappoint
This place is ALWAYS incredible. A bad meal at Mae's beats the best meal almost everywhere else! And in the past 13-14 years...I have never had a bad meal. I typically settle on breakfast...I love the Lyonnaise potatoes option. However 75%+ of the time I get Mae's Manly breakfast. No other spot has
Food: 3 Stars - Food was good (Tijuana Scramble, Hash & Eggs, Sampler). It is what I would expect from your average dinner. Service and Cleanliness (+1 Star): Service was good, friendly and attentive. Cleanliness was spot on and saw them disinfecting surfaces, including door handles multiple times.
This has been my go-to diners for years. It's not the lastest and greatest in town, but for what it is: price, atmosphere, service, I'm giving this place a 5-star. It's a typical diners, nothing special, but very well priced and awesome service.
Home feeling place. The hamburger made was so delicious. It tasted home made. Very good.
