There is plenty of parking with a shuttle ride to the ship. Get your parking reservation in advance via an internet search. The parking, security, and shuttle staff were all hospitable. We did Princess Cruiseline, and the lady at check-in was 100% WRONG about giving our group access to each other's cabins. DON'T LISTEN TO THEM. Whatever cruiseline you use, GUEST SERVICES has the correct information and can easily give consenting guests access to each other's cabins if they wish 🤞
Almost 5 stars but gave 4, due to the poor handling of traffic in the port. PLEASE give yourself extra time to get in and out, especially out of the port.
I would do it again and also recommend it.

I was locked out of my account and Bo needed to book my parking for the Jubilee for 2 weeks in the parking garage. She helped me get my account unlocked as well as helped me change my password. I couldn’t have done it without her assistance. I know the garage is going to fill up quick so I wanted to get it done. We are going on back to back on the Jubilee and answered my ? on what to do about that.
She is a great employee and I am a new cruiser and needed the help.
Once again I couldn’t have done it without her. I m now fully reserved for both cruises.

Very coordinated port! It gets packed but they managed to make it flow properly. Have used the port a couple of times and haven't had any issues.
Everyone was hospitable and helpful assisting my sister friend, who had difficulty walking. The bus driver, guy who carried our luggage, etc etc. And of course the entire staff at carnival vista. 😉
Blanche was above helpful to me and my husband. Somehow, a computer error caused a double charge in my card and I was out of $73. Blanche refunded my money and she was courteous enough to do it while heavily occupied with other tasks. My husband and I find it so relieving to just meet good wholesome folk that have a heart to help. Might I add, refund assistance is not in her job duties, but she did it anyway! That's the way, uh huh uh huh, I like it! 🎶
This is only my second time to park at Port of Galveston and I was having trouble making a reservation online. Frustrated, I called and was thankful that I was able to speak to a person AND have them be incredibly helpful. Blanche Sheffield was very polite and knowledgeable. She not only helped make the reservation but answered my questions. Wonderful customer service!
OVERALL: The port of galveston is run quickly and efficiently. The staff is well equipped and knowledgeable.

Great new port facility. Very attractive. Parking is right on the lot but you must reserve months in advance. Easy luggage drop off, plenty of attendants to direct you. Three elevators.
This is about my reservation experience. I was having a lot of issues trying to reserve a parking space using the website. I called the number and got Blanche E. Sheffield on the phone, she first had issues but she stuck with it till she was able to process the reservation for me. She was very professional and most of all very nice. I wish there were more Blanche's in the customer service industry!!!
This was my first cruise. I have to say, it was an experience. But Carnival is well organized. They pick up your luggage as soon as you get there, and it's at your room waiting for you when you board. The boarding process is long, but again, well organized. No complaints here. It was a good experience from start to finish.
