We stopped in during our vacation to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The food was fabulous. We had the smoked salmon crostini appetizer, delicious! I'm never a smoked salmon fan as it tends to be very fishy but this was so fresh.. without that strong smoked salmon aftertaste.. and so yummy! I had the cedar plank salmon for my entrée -- so delicious. My husband had the Gumbo, said it was the best he ever had.. along with the BLVD sampler, also so delicious! Our server was so attentive and very responsive, I completely forgot his name.. so sorry!! He was also kind enough to bring out a free dessert plate with Happy Birthday written on it alongside a sample of cheesecake! Beware, we ordered the Crème Brule trio thinking it was going to be a sampler plate---it is NOT!! it is definitely too much for two people to share. We could not finish it!!! But again, so delicious!!!
The only drawback is that is very loud in the restaurant. We had a difficult time talking to each other. It seemed to be a diner or burger joint before BLVD seafood, according to the décor and setup. The tables are very close together, there is a bar area right there too. It is a very small restaurant, so reservations are recommended for busier nights. You certainly can't be expecting a quiet, intimate dinner. I'm not sure why the noise level was so high but the food certainly makes up for it. Gourmet food for sure!!
My friend and I had dinner there Thusday, our waiter Justin was amazing, even after I scared him..this place is Galveston's best kept secret! The food was really 5 star, great wine, and again amazing service. I work for Carnival, I'm one of their Punchliner Comedians. Guests are always asking about where to eat in Galveston, as of Thursday Blvd Seafood will be my number one suggestion. Thank you Chris Lopez for bringing Blvd to the island..

Fantastic food. Great ambiance. A must visit in Galveston. Price is a little higher than App says... but worth it! Don’t forget the dessert. Creme brûlée is amazing!

Galveston's newest seafood spot on the Seawall. Heirloom goat cheese salad is a must, just add crab! Retro diner atmosphere, solid wine offering!
What a hidden gem...well hidden in plain sight; it's on the Seawall after all. Went there last night and had a wonderful meal. BLVD oysters for an appetizer is a must. I am an oyster lover, my wife not so much but this morning she is still raving about how good they were. We had two 'off menu' chef's specials for entrees; pistachio crusted red snapper and ostrich with a wine/mushroom sauce. Both were outstanding. Their special bar drinks and bread pudding for dessert were perfect accompaniment. Also, our server Cory, was very helpful and made some wonderful suggestions. This restaurant is definitely on our short list for places that we will gladly visit again and again.
A rare 5.0 for my Zomato experience. I was here with a group of 5 and the waiter could not have been more helpful and friendly! I had the Blvd. Campechana (Shrimp + Crab + Avocado + Tomato + Corn Tortilla Chips), Smoked Salmon Crostini (Smoked Salmon + Crostini + Chipotle Cream Fraiche + Cilantro Oil), and the Seafood Sampler (Shrimp + Chef’s Catch of the Day + Scallops + White Wine + Garlic Butter + Rice Pilaf + Crisp Green Beans). I was blown away by the apps and my main plate! They also carry some of the island's microbrewed beer, something that was surprisingly refreshing about a restaurant that could have been snooty. I was incredibly pleased with the food, drink, and atmosphere of classy casual restaurant centrally located a couple of blocks from Pleasure Pier!
Owned by the Yaga group, this place is a very welcome alternative quality food experience on the seawall. Lot of time spent on design, as you step into the interior and are transported into a really nice space with an ocean view. Much better than the kerb appeal would suggest. Food was very nice, and well-prepared. Local beers on tap and we experienced good service. Lots of fresh shrimp, broiled flounder, garlicky campechana, only miss was the crabcake/puck which was made from what tasted like canned leg meat. Nasty. Wedge salad was great with lots of bacon, blue cheese and other textures going on. We thoroughly enjoyed diabetic-friendly suger-free cheesecake and overall had a very pleasant meal. Not inexpensive.
I'm starting this review by acknowledging our waiter, Kevin. He's definitely in our top five for best service. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The food was 🤌🔥. The mixed drinks were also good. They use a Texas vendor for sparkling water, which is super cool. 🇨🇱 While the outside of the building didn't look like much, the inside emviounce was nice. We'll definitely go back. 👍
4 stars because I can’t give 4.8. Atmosphere just not perfect but still good. Great little spot for lunch or dinner. Not over priced at all. Food was really good. Service was great. Seared tuna (Tuna Tartar) was the freshest as you’d want. Scallops were perfectly cooked. This is now one of our favorites for Galveston. We will be back and recommend to friends.

A few of our friends visited Galveston, TX and visited this restaurant for Dinner. A very courteous staff welcomed us and explained the various items on the Menu. I chose the fried Calamari that is on the appetizer list along with garlic bread. It was amazing. My friends chose clam chowder and I had a taste of it too. Simply delicious. The prices were very reasonable. I will come back.
Best service I’ve had ever! We came for linch, and came back for supper. Misty-Jo really looked after us, from menu ideas, to tourist tips, and all you could hope for. The food was perfect, best chowder, great house salad, Blvd Sampler, delicious!
Absolute best restaurant and food quality I’ve had in Galveston. Ask for Kevin to serve you he is the best. Ten out of ten stars on food quality!! Highly recommend the pork chop!! We will never come to Galveston and not eat here!!
Very happy with our dinner tonight. The fish was fresh and not overly seasoned. Got the red snapper sampler and the sea bass. The pistachio crème brûlée was the best thing on the table!! The cucumber martini was $7 for happy hour and was plenty strong. $104 for 2 people. Made a reservation online and was seated immediately.
Chargrilled oysters were way overcooked. Tasteless and rubbery. My wife actually sent them back and she never sends anything back! They did take them back and she ordered the chowder. I had the Oysters BLVD and they were okay. The Chowder was pretty good and had a lot of seafood in it. It was so noisy, we couldn’t talk to each other or hear the server. We just had to smile and nod. Probably our last time there.
It was a last minute drive to Galveston to meet some friends and what a delicious experience we had. The appetizers were awesome especially the stuffed shrimp… The drinks were appeasing to the eye and palate ..We will definitely visit again…Highly recommended 🤩🤩🤩Highly suggest you make reservations or eat at the bar like we did…
Could not have asked for more. We picked this place based on the reviews and what a stunner! Kevin took great care of us and even gave some suggestions, much appreciated! The pecan crusted snapper was SO good. Small place, nice free parking lot, great views of the ocean out the window. Just relax and watch the world go by while eating great food. Try to make reservations as it isn't that big of a place. Will DEFINITELY be returning when we are back in the area. We want to try everything on the menu here. Ha!
