Great Staff and casual vibe. Had a soft-shell crab sandwich which was incredible. Was there to see Ernie Trionfo and Patty Blee, and they were just wonderful. Highly recommend this place.
Fun place on creek off bay, great seafood. Old place very nostalgic friendly accommodating staff.
Another great meal. This time to celebrate 34 yr anniversary. Love the casual atmosphere to relax and kick back. Great breeze on the porch, cold beer, their special shrimp, scallops, clams casino, crabs and coleslaw. AWESOME!!! One of our favorite spots to frequent. Worth the hour+ drive.
Great food... did I say great food? Not expensive... did I say great value. Comfy atmosphere and great views. Definitely a hidden gem.
OK we are in the food service industry my parents also had restaurants so that said, The Food was exceptional, we had Bills Seafood Pie, also the Crab Cake and Crab Soup a Filet Mignon, and Stuffed Flounder, the Mussel app was also amazing all the fish plates were served hot and FULL of Fish! the amount of crab was amazing in the dishes, the Meat was perfectly cooked and drinks were also great, anyone that complains it's high priced does not get its Fish, we have a Cajun /Creole Business we know fresh Fish is not cheep but you definitely get your money's worth here, service was excellent! and when you see the owner walking around watching everything going on, that's priceless, thats the place I want to be at! Keep up the good work we will be back!
One you get past the green head flies, staff and service are excellent.. Spicy Tuna was one of the best dishes I've had in a while.. liked it so much went back 2 days later for it!!
Loved the food! Servers were over attentive and so felt as we should be rushing . My first experience there. I would recommend but maybe not a weekend night when they are trying to turn their tables over quickly.
Oyster Creek is an incredible place. The employees are fantastic. I've had everything on the menu, The food is out of this world!! If you haven't been there, your missing out! Get to Oyster Creek as soon as you can!!!!
Phenomenal. Everything I've ever eaten here has been both well made and fresh. We had the seared scallops and garlic shrimp this weekend. Incredible. I'm not sure if it's the fresh seafood, the fresh air, the preparation, the casual environment, or something else, but I need this in my life!
We were there for lunch...ate on the screened in patio...beautiful breeze..food was great. Definitely will go back...maybe for dinner next time👍🏻
Excellent service from Danielle, awesome food, sautéed soft shell crabs, snapper soup, clams casino, everything was incredible. Billy Walton acoustic played live, really fun night, thank you!

Love me a dive especially when the food is outstanding! Beautiful views. Staff was attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back!
We went for lunch on Saturday, the view is beautiful, the shrimp salad wrap was so good. My dessert was a peanut butter pie.....delicious!
The best fish...we had the special sea bass over wild rice and crabmeat...and wine! Best ever!
Came here for lunch today and had the snapper turtle soup. The soup has a rich and bold flavor. It’s as jersey as one could get next to eating pork roll. It’s one of only two restaurants in the area that you can drive and boat to. Beautiful views of the wetlands and bay. It’s next to an active oyster fishing depot. Great place to grab a bite when you are in the area. Definitely something for everyone on the menu.
Nice relaxed eatery on the water. Bar, restaurant, and outside seating. Casual food on the menu plus sushi made fresh on the premises. Boats can pull up at the dock and passengers can enjoy a cold drink and a meal. Plenty of parking for those coming by car or motorcycle. Nice view of the water.
Stopped in for some fresh seafood tonight and we were not disappointed. The oysters on the half shell were amazing as were the broiled scallops and the stuffed Atlantic flounder. Too bad we live 2,500 miles away so a repeat visit will have to wait until we’re back in this neck of the woods.
I'm going for all 5's because the views were breathtaking at sunset, the wait of 30 minutes flew by with drinks on the deck outside and the food was really good. It's a neat place, excellent location and feels very family friendly which I like.
We recently went here for a late lunch early dinner for us, even though the restaurant wasn’t serving dinner yet. It has a beautiful location overlooking Oyster Creek, yet we along with other patrons were seated in a room overlooking the parking lot. They probably don’t open the big dining room until dinner time is my guess. My daughter had the lobster special, my GS had fried shrimp and I had the Fried Oysters Po’Boy. All of the seafood, coleslaw and French fries were delicious. We also got Peanut Butter Pie and French Toast Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce to go. We love the the Peanut Butter pie they serve from Bellino’s Market.
Recommended. Can't say enough great things about this place, with one exception-will get to later. Great setup on the water. Can drive up on a boat if wanted. Food is really fabulous. I have tried a handful of things here but always come back to the blackened seared tuna steak. It is the best, each time, I have ever had. Really neat location, especially at sunset. Laid back, efficient, good people. Very reasonable prices for the large portions of fresh food you get. Huge menu with a lot of choice. The one detraction is that they will not split checks at all for a table. They will take credit cards but only one for a table. So if you are splitting a check, bring cash and keep track of your bill.
This Restaurant holds a huge spot in my families hearts and holds lots of great memories with my family ever since I was little! They have the best food here and I recommend giving it a shot if you are in the area in New Jersey!! They have the nicest staff and we were lucky to have a seat 5 minutes after we walked in!
We both had Kona Big Wave drafts. They were crisp, cold and delicious. The onion rings were great, as were the clams casino and the parmesan crusted crab cakes. The fried flounder sandwich was not available, so we opted for the Carolina style pulled pork sandwich. It was tangy, spicy and piled high on a fresh roll. The vibe is great, our server was super friendly and very helpful. The views a wonderful, and it's so relaxing, you can't help feeling at home.
It was my first time here and I had the flounder special. It was phenomenal! My aunt and uncle had the copper river sockeye salmon special and they raved about it as well. Amazing food and great service. I highly recommend!
Marina type of restaurants are interesting and this one is a stand-out given the remote location and a big sky/water view. Friendly staff, good food. Had Pop-Pop's littleneck clams and flounder stuffed with crab, wife loved her salmon cooked rare with lump crab.
We waited about 35 minutes and enjoyed a drink in the bar area it was very busy Sunday afternoon.
One of the owners was working the podium well.
We were seated at a nice table in a crowded dining room and our server was right on us I think her name was cam or cami she was super server Toni’s and handled us well all night.
We ordered clams on Half shell clean cold and fresh perfect…
We ordered creamy clam chowder hod clammy excellent.
Ordered Manhattan it was ok more like a gravy than a tomato based soup and lite on clams and taste it was ok not great.
Ordered two dinner specials the fried lobster tail with jersey corn on cob excellent cooked perfect and flavorful.
I got a fried flounder special over wild rice with mushrooms broccoli rabe and capes and wine it was probably the best dish I have had out ever. Perfect balance of flavors and the dish was executed perfectly crisp fish rice cooked perfects and the vegetable bite size and a chefs herb butter on top of the fish pulled it all together.
Well done and thank you !
I’ve been wanting to come here since I came across their menu a few months ago. We had a long drive ahead of us to get home from AC, and I am SO glad we stopped for a bite here. It ended up being a major highlight of our trip! every single thing we ordered off the menu was outstanding. My bff and I were so full but couldn’t stop eating! I loved the view of the bay from our table. I can’t forget to mention Anastasia, who provided us with excellent service. And hats off to the bartender for the delicious drinks!
Been coming here for years. Laid-back oyster house directly in the marsh. Beautiful location. Food always delicious. Tried Chef Scott's Stuffed Salmon (pictured)
Signature dish filled with brie and crab, topped with asparagus and balsamic butter sauce over wild rice.
All of the food is great! The sushi here is very good! Especially the filet roll. You’d never think it’s a sushi place, but they have it! The calamari was also excellent. If you eat outside or on the porch you have a nice view. The staff is nice and on top of everything!
I came here on a whim the other night and was so glad I did. It’s not a fancy place, but the food was great, the service perfect, and the views spectacular. You drive down through the preserve to get here. We were treated to a thunderstorm while dining on the screened in porch. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area.
Oyster Creek was a great find! We got a table right away, and the menu was wonderful. The views front the outside decks were beautiful near sunset. My seafood was perfect and my husband's blackened tuna was delicious! It's a little outdated, and the food presentation could be better, but the food is stellar!
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Hands down best restaurant in jersey. Seafood is always fresh; the atmosphere is great. Great views from the screen porch area. Service is always great and pleasant. Not a single complaint.
Great food had king crab . This is a gem, nestled by the bay areas close to smithville village. Can see turtles crossing and swimming. I wish they bring back blue crabs back!
