This is my favorite lunch spot. (Although I go for dinner as well - that's when I treat myself to the fantastic desserts). Have used them to cater a book signing and done pre-order and pick up of large amounts for family functions as well. Mama Debbie's fries are the best in the universe, hands down.
Deb and Rob are fantastic people with so much energy and life. They truly get to know their 'regulars' and will always take a minute to come by the table to chat. They make sure their staff is friendly and helpful as well. The decor and atmosphere are casual but always immaculate. THEY ARE THE ONLY RESTAURANT I HAVE SEEN WITH A CONSISTENT 100 HEALTH DEPARTMENT RATING.
I was surprised this morning when I got a text message from my cousin who is getting married soon. She has only had Campione's twice and is planning to use them for her wedding next spring. So happy she feels everyone will appreciate their fantastic Italian eats.

I love visiting Chicago. And I'm a Firefighter, so we know good food. Haha. This is the REAL taste of Chi-Town. Unbelievably great is putting it mildly. Everything is authentic. From the food & decor all the way up to the awesome owners. Real down-to-earth type people. I took one bite of the combination beef and sausage sandwich and it took me right back to the Windy City. If you want to taste Chicago without the 9 hour drive up I-65, this is your place. Thanks, and I'll definitely be back soon and often.

Wow, just a great taste of Chicago! Great food wonderful staff. We drove 40 minutes out of our way through a snow storm. Worth every mile. Make sure you save room for the fries they are great. I had the Italian beef hot and my wife had the sweet. Not sure which was better. Make sure you stop by when you are near

Real Chicago. Authentic Chicago restaurant. I am from the Windy City and this place is real. Great, no, amazing Italian beef. They use Viena beef. Daily Italian specials are good too. Nice atmosphere and friendly owner and staff. If you like this type of food, you'll love this place. Oh, try the desert...terrific cannoli.

This little gem has been literally under my nose for several years now, as I work less than a mile away. How I managed to never go in until today is beyond me.
Anyway, I will repeat the comments of other reviewers. Nice family that actually cares about what they do, good value for the money, and an awesome Italian Beef "sammich".
My waistline (let alone cholesterol level) did not need to know about Campione's. Oh well.
Fantastic food, good prices. My wife and I heard about Campione's from a friend. We decided to give it a try and were so glad we did. If you have every had a "REAL" italian beef then you will LOVE this place. My wife is from Chigago and I'm a bit further to the East and we both know what a beef is suppose to taste like. We have tried beefs from quiet a few places and I'm talking about places as far as 200 miles from Nashville and none come close to this place. The owners are very friendly and still have that Chicago accent. We plan on visiting again soon to try something differant on the menu. We will have to get the beefs to go, can't leave without a beef, lol.
Just like Home...... Was at Campione's yesterday for my Chicago dog fix. It's the only place in Tennessee I know of where you can get an authentic Chicago sandwich. As a former Chicagoan, it's like eating at my favorite sandwich shop back home. Food is great, always a friendly place, and the owners are the best! They go out of their way to make their customer's happy. There are many places that offer "Chicago Style" sandwiches, but none as good as Campione's. Probably because the owner's are from Chicago!

Our little family loves Campione's! The dogs are my wife and kids' choice, and they are picky about food; maybe the other folks who whined about the hotdogs are not used to "yankee"/old-fashioned 'dogs which tend to have more "bite"; I, personally, avoid most hotdogs; anyway I found the roast beef with mozz a winner. I get a half "samitch" (which is not printed on the menu but IS on the wall menu there) and it barely leaves room for a cannolu (cannoli, singular, who knew). The fries are the best I've ever eaten. I usually avoid fries, too, they just never taste good enough to warrant the fat grams, but I cannot help eating a half (large) order here. Back to the cannoli: they are filled to order so the shell is CRISP like it should be (but never is elsewhere) and the filling is about perfect (needs more candied orange peel and pistachios IMHO). My only complaint is that it's a bit too expensive for us to stop there every time the kids suggest it - not really because it's too pricey, but because we MUST get the $3 canolli (X4) and Cokes (to cut the grease, every cheap eats expert knows Coke is like Dawn, except it gets grease out of your _colon_).
RE: (reviewer) Sushi Nut's complaints; 1) I agree with his/her parenting policy regarding avoidance of kids' TV, and the Disney Channel experience would've made me mad too; but I have never seen anything but sports and CNN on the HD TVs there. I'm sure if one asked they'd at least turn it down, and these people are among the few who posses the required tact to take Disney from children and leave the kids smiling!
2). I too sometimes have the Campiones too-full-dummy-tummy ache from the rich food, but just take this as an affirmation of your normal (i.e., usually healthy) diet!

Campiones... Da bomb!. I've known about Campione's for a while but today was my first time to get in there! WOW! Who says you can't take the dog out of Chicago!? Tasted like the best dog joints in the Windy City. Da Big Spiccone is Da Bomb! The fries... perfection. And the Chicago imported cannoli... worthy of a credit at the end of every Godfather movie. THEN, to make matters better, I was offered a sample of "da beef" and... mama!!! I already know what I'm getting the next time I go in. Great job Campiones! Thanks for saving me airfare to O'Hare just to get a decent dog!

Very delicious! The italian beef with the mozzarella is the best! Fries were really tasty as well. Couldn't decide what to have for dinner and wanted to try some place we hadn't been. Took a gamble using urban spoon and found this place. Glad we did! Will definitley go back.

Absolutly to Die for!!!!. Wow! I will never eat any where else for as long as I live. The food is truly authentic and the staff is all family. The place is spotless and everyone is well taken care of. This family treats everyone that comes in better than most treat their friends. They are warm and inviting with a strong beauty gene ;-). They even allow anyone to have rule over the remote to their 42 inch LG as you enjoy home made sauce and meatballs that only true Italians could ever produce. I even saw one guy ask for sauce in a cup so he could just drink it?! The Italian Beef is to die for, and they've got true chicago style hot dogs complete with the poppy seed bun and creepy lime green chicago relish. Everything (I mean everything) is brought in from the windy city, other than what they make. I would know because I recently moved to the area only six years ago. I definitely feel at home with chicago memorabilia all over the walls and the smell of fresh fontinini sausages and brat's on the grill with a fresh scoop of the best fries you will ever eat. This is place is completely family friendly and unique. Everyone must go no matter how far away you might be, because they literally save you the 500 mile trip to Chicago. It is that good, trust me. But, save room for desert! Their canolli's, cheese cake, and home made unique cakes are absolutely the best you will ever have.
YUMMY!. Campione's is Gallatin's best kept secret. I came across this little gem by way of an ad in the local paper. AWESOME is all I can say. As someone who has lived all over this great country, I have had the pleasure of eating in Chicago and Campione's is the real deal. The food is quite simply, made with love. The cannoli's would make your Italian grandmother cry. The Italian Beef Samich is to die for and their hot dog's take you right back to the windy city. My children loved their pasta and Chicage Puffs. Campione's is very clean and the kid's loved watching the well placed TV while we enjoyed the fest laid out before us. All I say is that we will be back and I personally can not wait to try one of the mouthwatering cakes. Well done!!!!!!!!!!

The greatness.. Great food in a great atmosphere. Mom Deb and the rest of the family employees all make you feel welcome. Food is top notch and always fresh. From the Wrigley Chili dog to and of the homemade pasta's everything tastes wonderful.
I highly recommend getting the Combo Sammich. You get a toasted baguette with an Italian sausage and a pile of sliced Italian beef, covered with cheese and your choice of hot or sweet peppers.

Loved the place!! Living in IL for close to 30 years and moving to middle TN we have definitely missed real deal Chicago style food. I got the Italian beef with Mozz cheese and had it kissed in the sauce which was awesome but I think next time I'll get it fully dipped. Also had to of course get a Chicago dog and it was true all the way down to the relish. Awesome place and I even got flack for wearing my STL cardinals shirt which I assumed I would.
Campione's in Gallatin is like a slice of Chicago right here in Tennessee! It's a super cool place for family meals, and the Chicago-style decor feel makes it extra special.
The food is amazing and in my opinion it's even better than Portillos Hot Dogs! They've got Chicago Style Hot Dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, Cannolis, Polish Sausage, Pizza and more. It all tastes like the real deal.
What makes Campione's awesome is the sports vibe. The walls are covered in cool sports memorabilia, making it feel like you're in a Chicago sports paradise. It's not just a place to eat, it's like a mini trip to Chicago. My kids were asking me to describe who each athlete was on the wall. It always led back to how Chicago is superior to Green Bay in every way.
If you're into Chicago food, sports, and a cozy setting, Campiones is the spot. We'll be back many more times than I'd like to admit. Hope you expand throughout TN!
I was here for the first time tonight and was completely blown away by the pizza. I talked with the owner for a bit, they have been in Gallatin since 2008, and it's a family owned and run business. The pizza dough and sauce are made fresh in house daily and they use quality ingredients to make their pizzas. I haven't had the Italian beef sandwich which they are famous for, but it was amazing on pizza! I will certainly be back to try more of the Chicago eats in the near future! Highly recommend!
Campione's Taste of Chicago is a legit Chicago style beef and hot dog restaurant. I'm a Chicago who has eaten Italian Beef sandwiches my whole life. This place got it right. The hot dogs are delicious as well. I highly recommend is you want an authentic experience to go stop in and try one. The owner is cool too.
This was my first experience with Chicago style food. I must say, It was awesome! Another Google local guide visited here and gave a 5 star review. Needless to say, I had to try them. And, I agree!! My wife had the Italian beef, and I had the Combo Sammich. For desert, we both had the Canoli. The owners and staff are super friendly. The dining room is small but not cramped. The atmosphere is pleasant. You can dine in, carry out, or use Uber Eats.
We returned 3 nights later to try their pizza. Their regular pizza is not listed on the marquee menu, but only on their website. It can be requested at the counter. Ours was thin crust, 14 inch supreme. It was sliced into 3" finger food squares. It was super delicious! I can't wait for our next visit. I leave the 5 star review intact!
I’m always skeptical of Chicago food outside of Chicago but this places passes the test. The beef dipped hot, the cheese fries, and the pizza puff all brought me home. Can’t wait to come back and try the pizza. Great Chicago feel to the restaurant as well.
A taste of home!!! If you are from Chicago and want a good Chicago beef sandwich, hot dog, cheese fries.....this is your place. So tasty, so good. The owners are awesome people and the place is all decked in Chicago decor!! Go BEARS!!! Just check the hours before you go because this place is family owned and operated and runs on family time...depending if they may close early for their own family events. I love that too!!! All of the qualities of a phenomenal Chicago style pizza. In all the years we have lived outside of IL we have always laughed when people describe “good pizza” but Campione’s is it. We cried tears of joy after the first bite. The staff is fantastic and we instantly felt like we have been coming here for years. Absolutely our go to spot for pizza, beef, hot dogs, literally anything they make. 100/10.

Listen, if you're looking for a real bite this place has what you are looking for. Since it was our first time, we were given a taste of their sliced beef on bun. I made a mistake not ordering this beef. Perfectly seasoned. Perfectly cooked. Perfect. That was followed up with a Brat on poppy seed bun and relish, peppers, onions, a pickle on the sideline. It was an absolute smash. Absolute no joke at all. If you don't know what you are in the mood for, I can promise you that you will be in the mood for this.
Delicious food, great environment.. brings me back to living in Chicago. I loved this place as soon as i walked in. But then i went to order.. Only thing is the comments from the staff when i place my order. Sometimes we order a plain hotdog due to food allergies and they always make some comment about it which makes it uncomfortable to want to come back and eat again. However They have great service

This is the only place we have found to get a real Italian beef in Middle Tennessee. Nothing else comes close. Every time we come in from Cookeville TN. I will have to stop even if it is just for a hot dog.
Gallatin-The best owners. Caring kind and attentive. The best meatballs I’ve ever had, best hot dogs, best Italian beef, and to die for cannolis. We have been bringing our kids here for years with no plans to stop!!!! Oh I forgot to mention the most delicious pizza ever!!!!!! Mon-Thur 6-8. Do NOT sleep on this…so delicious
