Review Old Faithful Bar - Gallatin Gateway

Best prime rib I've ever had in my life! Cooked to absolute perfection. Atmosphere is phenomenal and service is impeccable.

I recommend this 100%. The food was fantastic. I got a ribeye and it was cooked perfectly (medium-rare, the way God intended). My wife got the pork chop special and it was equally tasty. The service was great and it felt like we were eating with locals, not a bunch of out-of-towners. I guess it just felt authentic, not a normal “chain” experience.

New outdoor deck should be ready for summer. Excellent 8 oz steak cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth.

Atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from an old Western bar/restaurant. It's lovely! We ordered steaks, mine wasn't great. Lacked seasoning and was medium/well rather than med/rare. The clam chowder is phenomenal, and the apps!! I've ate here several times and normally the steaks are better. So I'm hoping it was just a fluke. As for the the bar, live bands often, dance floor, pool table, amazing bartenders! Great small town place, and historic!

Food was great. Waitstaff was super friendly. Very cool atmosphere. The onion soup was delicious.

The steak was the best steak that I have had since moving to Bozeman a month ago. It was cooked just right and had so much flavor. We had to wait about an hour to be seated, so we hung out at the bar. The drinks were good! I will say that the place allows you to put your food and drinks all on one tab, but if you open and close the tab on the bar side but ate at the restaurant side then the server doesn’t get a tip. The tip would go to the bar side. I’d make sure to tip both sides. Overall, I had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Great place to stop on your bike as you head in to Big Sky. Great sandwiches and cold beer. Jackie took great care of us. Bar built back in 1911….

Really enjoyed this local spot in Gallatin. The food was very very good, the staff was wonderful and we all left super happy. It's a small space so not many diners at a time. We got lucky with a table at the time we went. The steakhouse is attached to a bar so even if you have to wait I'm sure you can pass the time well over there! Highly recommend. Maybe not great for vegetarians.

First time eating here and bummed I live 400 miles away or I’d be eating here all the time! One of the best steaks I’ve ever had.... we had great service, the menu is full of options and the atmosphere is really fun! Can’t wait to come back!!

Loved this place! Not only because of the atmosphere, but had one of the best tenderloins I've ever had and I'm from TX so..... ;) ps - fried green tomatoes are also wonderful and loved the sesame ginger dressing.

Tasty local treat! It's our family birthday dinner spot and the food is always fantastic!

My 21 year old son and I ate in the bar last night. Staff was really friendly and burgers great. We enjoyed checking out the rodeo memorabilia on the wall.

It was a full house but that did not stop them from delivering an outstanding service. Great experience, great food, and the friendliest attitude all around. They complimented how well behaved my son was. If I am ever in town again, I would definitely have dinner there again.

We go here often it's a no fail meal, and the atmosphere is the best. Small town country, it doesn't get any better than that.

I had a great night! The bar staff is awesome but the low grade is because the band was pretty awful.

Great place to eat and have a few beers and enjoy other people's company. Like all the older rodeo pics and even remember some of the cowboys at different rodeos I was at in my younger days.

We went there on 7/8/16. I had Bozezone IPA. My wife had a burger and fries. The burger was great and the fries were excellent. Found out they are coated with Alpine Touch Spice. Sure would like the recipe.

Great nostalgic bar of Bozeman areas rodeo past. Rumored to have great western swing bands on the weekend.<br/>A must stop in and have a brew and/or meal whil in the area.

Best Steak I've Ever Had. I had the NY Strip, and it was the best steak I've ever had. I think it was $24, and it came with a salad and baked potato. Very cool little place, very good service. Highly recommend.
