The cheese curds are a must! The breading is delicious and the cheese melts everywhere. I had the fish and chips and my other half had the bacon burger. The meat on the burger was nice and juicy while the fish came apart easy and was moist and delectable! The fries taste amazing! I had a hazelnut mixed drink and it tasted like a chocolate hazelnut spread. Will recommend to anyone stopping by Galena.
I rarely give 5s because a place has to be pretty close to perfection to get it. Well...One Eleven Main deserves the 5!
We had the Cheese Curd appetizer. Best cheese curds I have ever had - great curds that could have stood by themselves, a light flavorful coating, and fried just to a light brown perfection. The ranch dressing served with them was good, but the curds were excellent even without it.
I had the duck. Again full and flavorful with a great glaze and sauce. The accompaniments were also good.
My wife had the Stroganoff and said it was the best she's ever had.
Service was very friendly and attentive. She even gave us a decanter of water when we just ordered water to drink. Nice extra touch!
Loved the decor as well.
When we visit Galena again, we definitely know one restaurant we're visiting. Keep up the good work!
We wanted a nice place to relax after 10 hours of exploring the Galena area. We visited a few other establishments during the day. Around 7pm we settled into One Eleven Main and glad we did. The service, atmosphere, selections and food was excellent.
The time of day lent to a smaller crowd and we enjoyed just sitting back and taking our time to make our culinary decisions.
The waiter was excellent. He was very knowledgeable in all aspects of our queries.
We will stop again on our next trip to the area.
Smoked trout appetizer is absolutely delicious! Carlos was a fantastic server!!
Great casual restaurant for lunch! Really great food and their homemade fries are delicious!
This year we decided on galena for our yearly Christmas trip. For picking out a place to eat on the galena website, it was excellent choice. My husband had the duck(loved it!) , my sister in law and myself had the almond crusted walleye ( loved it), my daughter had the beef stroganoff ( loved it), and my brother on law had the ribeye ( loved it). The came dessert...turtle cheesecake ...they nailed it!! Our waiter Brian was awesome!!!! U can tell he really enjoys his job and very personal person!! He told us some of his personal favorites as well as events that r going on at night . Kudos for your waiter brian!! Please let him know we loved him and will request him when we return !!
Absolutely phenomenal! We were lucky to dine on a Monday night after a holiday weekend, so we had the entire place to ourselves - what a treat! The food was heavenly, and the ambiance made us feel classy but comfortable. We will definitely be back!
First time we ate there and it was FANTASTIC!!! Highly recommend the waiter we had named Will. He was amazing and had an answer to all of our questions and gave us his opinions and likes and dislikes and his reasons why and explained everything in very good detail!!

I had the Brisket sandwich and my Wife had Mac & cheese, both were great and I loved the homemade fries. They also have a good selection of drinks.
Been here a few times. Have not had a bad meal yet. The wait staff is very helpful if you have a question about the food/drink. You are not rushed. Prices will not break the bank.
Loved everything about it food, mimosas, great time had by all! Kathleen and Kathleen were both great! Celebrated my birthday!
We had a mid week lunch here and it was pretty nice. It wasn't overly crowded (we did arrive before noon)... The service was attentive and the food was fine. The prices are in line with a tourist town restaurant. Pictured is the "I'll have what he's having" burger and the poutine appetizer. I'm not super familiar with poutine, aside from the stereotype, but I imagined it'd have more gravy on it.
What a cool place! First of all you'll get an awesome history lesson if you ask any of the servers. The place is quite haunted and no one likes to go on the third floor. Besides the bright and cheerful ambiance you have delicious food and very attentive wait staff. We were seated on the second floor with sunlight streaming in and an atmosphere where you could talk quietly while enjoying a delicious meal (getting the creeps all the same time). The good kind of creeps, I recommend this place.
Although the dinner prices may seem expensive you get so much food for your money. We both got the ribeye with mashed potatoes which was delicious. Warm bread to start is always a plus. Service was good. The building is beautiful. Only thing we didn't enjoy were our drinks.
Wonder beef ravioli and dinners were amazing. Duck was cooked perfectly and sweet mash was great! Friendly service and great space!
Definitely recommended for dinner.
My wife and I stopped by One Eleven Main for lunch during our last trip to Galena. I had heard the dinner prices were rather expensive, but Lunch was an amazing value.
The food was amazing and the service was top notch! We had a great time eating talking and people watching out the front window. The waitress was also very helpful and polite. We will definitely be back.
If you are looking for options, their Beef Stroganoff is amazing and their Stake Salad is one of the better salads I have seen in the area. If you want something different for lunch, they also have a Portobello Burger (beef patty between to large portobello tops). You can't go wrong here.
The food was delicious! Service so-so. Annoying fly that I complained about that kept landing on my bread. They brought new bread and he came back! They did nothing about the fly. They tossed my drink when I went to the ladies room.
My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous meal. Bruschetta was delightful. My husband had the walleye and I had the shrimp scampi. Both were very generous portions. The soup and salad were a great combination. So happy we ventured in. Service was great.
