Wonderful pulled pork sandwich, great brisket, hush puppies and smoked mashed potatoes were so good. Our server was Anthony and he was wonderful. Food came out fairly quick, considering it was completely packed. You pay at the front and prices were so reasonable. Will be back if I'm ever in Galax again.

We enjoyed our visit. Brisket was great, Pulled Pork was good, Ribs were good. Our favorites where the Smoked Mashed Potatoes and BBQ Baked Beans. Service was fast and attentive. If you are in the area check this place out!

Great pork, chicken or beef ‘Que. Smoked just right. Menu has something for everyone—not just BBQ. Wait staff is very pleasant and welcoming. Drinks are refilled often and extras offered to-go. Restaurant has won several awards through the years. Take some extra time and visit Downtown Galax. There are many antiques stores and specialty shops. Bookstore near The Smokehouse had free live music and plenty of chairs for sipping coffee and listening. Eat, shop and relax all within a short walk.
