Nice place and staff. High prices just for the experience (they make guacamole in front of the table) and that it’s a made from scratch kitchen. It’s not a higher quality of food really than your average Mexican restaurant. Maybe less salt or different quality cooking oil. They have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. Some of the rice dishes are made with butter and they cannot accommodate because they make rice in batches.

We went here on Monday noon, the restaurant wasn’t busy, we had a excellent dining experience! The food was so delicious, and served super fast. Also we were impressed by our server, he patiently helped us with the menus, refilled everything quickly as needed. It’s a children friendly restaurant, they have kids menus and kids cups, booths and high chairs are available. I would recommend to anyone and definitely come back soon!

We had a great time here on 07/12/2023 around 9 pm. Came here for grandmas birthday and we were very happy how everything went out. The customer service was phenomenal, super professional and the food was delicious. Plazo was very cozy. We will be back , thank you!

Got a swirl margarita New recipe with sangria and frozen lime margarita, tastes amazing! Chips and 2 different kinds of salsa. Couldn’t decide which is better, the grilled tomato salsa or the red salsa for chips Thanks Jesse for your wonderful service!

Tonight was a busy night. I'll be honest, I was very disappointed and angry when we got seated. We waited over an hour for a table (okay, fine, it's busy) and the hosts ignored me and other people bum rushed. Instead of telling people to get in line they just reacted to whatever. Seriously frustrated. HOWEVER. We got seated and our waitress Adela showed up and let me just tell you. From the first 10 seconds I'd have trusted this woman with my children's lives (not literally) but she was so kind, warm, and patient. She made us feel welcomed and happy! She took care of us constantly and made sure everything was wonderful. The food tasted amazing and we all ate our fill. I am so happy I was blessed to have her as our waitress. She truly was wonderful.

If you’re into crowded Mexican restaurants that serve decent food and are located near bodies of water, then I’d say that Uncle Julio’s is your best bet. As for me, while I wasn’t a huge fan of the crowded environment, in general, I liked the food and I didn’t mind speaking a bit of Spanish there, especially since my servers at the time were very sweet and patient. I would prefer it if the chocolate piñata came with coffee. That way, I would have something to wash down all of the sweetness of the piñata. Otherwise, I do appreciate that at Uncle Julio’s, the quality and to an extent, the health benefits of the food are taken into consideration. It’s definitely not a bad place to take your date to. Also, props on putting strawberries and pineapples into the piñata! It puts me at ease as someone who was once diagnosed with borderline prediabetes.

This is a great place that can accommodate very large groups. Great food, awesome drinks, attentive servers. Tortillas are made o site. We didn't have to wait long for anything. They earned their stars from us and generous tip. Great ambience. We will make sure we stop by at our next visit.

I ordered the premium quesadillas and chicken Tacos. Both the items were okay. Having said that, I felt both these items could have been more flavorful. Service was great and the ambience was lively

Wasn't able to move my dining room resi to outdoor, I had to cancel it completely and then be next on list for outside which took over 30 min, but food was delicious, very pricey- almost 100 for 1 app, 2 entrees, 1 dessert, 1 margarita & lemonade. Inside dining was very loud and very cold temp wise, but I would eat there again.

We love Uncle Julio’s! Tonight we had the pleasure of being waited on by David in the bar seating area. He was very attentive, checking in with us often. He and the manager worked with the kitchen to ensure that our parties allergies were compatible with our dishes. The entire staff was very polite and friendly. The manager was frequently making rounds to ensure everyone at the restaurant was well taken care of. This location is pretty spacious, has clean bathrooms, and also has tons of patio seating. There is a parking lot out pack and a parking deck across the street. Both are free. Deciding what to order is always easy as everything is delicious. The ingredients are fresh. It’s evident that the beans are not simply dumped from a can and heated. They are fresh with bacon bits and good flavor. Their chips are sturdy - perfect for loading up with salsa or dip. Also, the margaritas are tasty and priced right. There’s a flavor for every palate!

Had a great dinner & a fun night out! On Tuesday's currently they have a taco bar available. Posted a pic below. You have your meats and all of the unlimited toppings you could possibly want. The best part is that the price is extremely reasonable at $12 per person. The tacos were delicious, I can't wait to come back next Tuesday!!

We were almost ready to give up Mexican food for good until our friends took us to Uncle Julio's. We ordered Fajitas and the side table Guacamole. It was so delicious! Also, we had the cutest waiter ever. (Joseph, you are awesome! Please be our friend!) We went on a Saturday evening; as expected, the place was bustling. I would recommend making a reservation.

Good food, great service, very busy restaurant. If going on a Sunday it’s best to go in before 1230 if you don’t want to wait. Their food was very fresh and tasty. The salsa tasted different than the usual Mexican Salsa which I didn’t think I liked at first but after eating a couple more bites it was actually very good. I would also highly recommend the fajitas and strawberry lemonade.
