I got the super burrito for $7 with barbacoa…and oh my it was delicious! I ate the whole burrito. Took home a dozen pork tamales that were still warm for $16 and a bottle of Mexican Vanilla for $18 for my mom who bakes cakes on the side. I love this place! I’ll definitely be visiting again soon!
Ordered the Super Burrito with chicken. Shreaded chicken was a bit watery so on my first bite, the burrito got quite messy. Co-worker ordered tacos which all looked good. Friendly employees. Likely will try this place out again in the future.

Very overrated on social media for our taste. Chips were stale. The tortillas on the tacos are steamed and not grilled. Got the sausage, cheese and egg breakfast tacos and they were flavorless and cold. The cheese wasn’t even melted. Could barely taste the sausage and cheese and the tortilla was stale. Won’t be back.
Best Tacos and Burritos! Love the soup, guacamole. Every meal is consistent, you go because you want Mendez and that is exactly what you get. I've never had a bad meal!
Hidden gem of the century. Will stop here every time I go through Gainesville now. The tamales are soooo good!
