This place was so good. The restaurant itself was clean and cozy with a wonderful atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive. And the food was absolutely delicious and surprisingly affordable. I'm definitely going back many times

Locals give Fera’s rave reviews, so after traveling through the area a number of times we gave it a try for an early dinner. We are not typically fans of Italian food, but this was a solid dinner and good service. Very quiet ambiance even for our being there early.

We ordered wine with dinner and it was average—worked well with what we ordered. I had the Pasta Sampler plate, and each selection was good with a rich, flavorful sauce.

What was most memorable was the bread. WOW! Fresh, homemade, and delicious. It is tempting to back just for the bread.

Gainsville has limited choices, and this is a good dinner option.

Recently added back to list. We went to Fera's a few years ago and were disappointed. Somehow they forgot to make my food and my entire family ate while I just sat there eating the bread. I swore I would not go back. Fast forward, we have been back a couple of times in the last couple of months and have decided to add it back on the list of options (which is a short list here). Service has been good and the food acceptable. I use the word "acceptable" because I lived in the northeast and was blessed with lots of options for spectacular Italian food and spectacular Italian food is exceptionally hard to come by in Texas. Fera's is pretty good and a nice change from the typical fast food, Tex-Mex, or BBQ. It is the best option in town for Italian unless you are just looking for a quick pizza and then the chains are OK.

Diner from Texas - Donna. Our favorite Italian restaurant ever! Our family has tried many of the menu dishes and without exception, everything has been delicious to outstanding. The lasagna, cannaloni (sp?) and pizza melts in your mouth and the salad is crisp and fresh with a wonderful house dressing. We eat at Fera's every chance we get and are never disappointed. Hope all of you will give them a try!!

Just stopped at one of favorite Italian restaurants. Family business, nice atmosphere and very good pasta. Great sauce and plenty of it. If you are driving thru Gainesville it's a great place to stop. We always do!

Very worst steak Marsala I've ever eaten. Steak was a thin, tough, cryo packed nightmare. I would be ashamed to feed my dog that steak.
No mixed drinks at all, just beer and wine. My Cabertet was hot and old. It needed to be thrown out.
I would not ever go there again.
By the way..... Where does anyone eat here beside fast food?
This town has no signature restaurants of any kind. Very sad for the hungry traveler with a pocket full of funds!

Great Chicken Florentine!!. I found the food was great, service was good. It definetely filled me up. Overall, all of our meals were great. The prices were inexpensive compareable to anything in Decatur. I will certainly go back here.

Not worth it. Me and my family drove all the way from Dallas going to the casino and we stopped at feras which we thought it would be a great Italian place to dine in before we head out but unfortunate it wasn't. The place was nicely decorated but for a terrible rude service cold food no taste even the bread was cold and you can tell was not fresh , the owner or the family that operates its not even Italian , are you serious? I wonder why its was empty on a Saturday night, I'm sorry won't be going there again.

Review by Mimi. Family run resturant. Nice atmosphere. They make their own cheese. The herbs are fresh (they grow their own during the summer) in a small garden on the east side of the building. The bread is wonderful and the calzone is huge and very good. My favorite dish is the caprisee (sp?) salad. It's not on the menu, but they will gladly make you one if they have the homemade cheese ready. Nice family, parents cook, kids wait tables.
