Very good food, feels like it was cooked right at home... Delicious flavor and good variety... calm music playing and tv shows for kids and adults on the TVs.... Will definitely come back... service was friendly and attentive...

EDIT: Downgrading this review to 4 stars as the restaurant was recently bought out and under new ownership the food is different. I ordered a steak burrito and tamales, which were delicious, but the sides (beans and rice) and dips were not worth a mention. *** If you're looking for Mexican or Salvadorian food, look no further. Freshly prepared and authentic taste, the food far surpassed my expectations. The staff here are quite friendly and personable. The atmosphere is quiet (went for dinner on a Friday night) and the environment is clean.

If you like pupusa's and tamales Salvadoran style. This is the place. Yummy

Catalina's used to be our go-to place for Sunday lunch. The service was great and the food delicious. Recently the lady sold the restaurant and the quality has plummeted. The sign still says "Catalina's" but the receipt says the name is now "Rincon". The house-made chips are over-cooked and dark brown. The taco salad was a mass of lettuce and cheese in a shell - no beans or ingredients they used to add to add as a "taco". They messed up my order and I had to wait for it to be made. Really? I ordered a breakfast with eggs and they forget the eggs? And nothing was added to the eggs - not even salt. And yes, even the staff and music has changed! Sorry, but goodbye Catalina's. We won't be back for the new "Rincon".
