Catalina's Restaurant - Gainesville - Photo album

Terrible experience! My order was missing two meals and the food we did get wasn't good.
Everything is homemade and the absolute best!!! Would go back everyday of my life!!
Best caldo de rez in town and the service was fast and exelent
Laloka....makes every trip in here...well...a trip! Such a great server..always pleasant and eager to please. Thanks LALO!!! GREAT JOB!! AS long as she serves us..we will keep coming in!! Food is fresh too!!
Very good food, feels like it was cooked right at home... Delicious flavor and good variety... calm music playing and tv shows for kids and adults on the TVs.... Will definitely come back... service was friendly and attentive...
EDIT: Downgrading this review to 4 stars as the restaurant was recently bought out and under new ownership the food is different. I ordered a steak burrito and tamales, which were delicious, but the sides (beans and rice) and dips were not worth a mention. *** If you're looking for Mexican or Salv
If you like pupusa's and tamales Salvadoran style. This is the place. Yummy
Catalina's used to be our go-to place for Sunday lunch. The service was great and the food delicious. Recently the lady sold the restaurant and the quality has plummeted. The sign still says "Catalina's" but the receipt says the name is now "Rincon". The house-made chips are over-cooked and dark
