Very authentic and fresh food. Huge portions. Massive grocery/carniceria. Pork tamales are awesome.
So far I’ve ate at 3 different taco places here in Gainesville and this place has the best tacos de birria with consume this town has to offer! Meat was not tough at all some places have the tendency on overcooking. This place also has a market so very convenient!

This restaurant is tucked inside a small grocery store. The food is good but it takes awhile before they notice someone wanting to order. None of the employees speak any English.
The food was good. The people were kind. The music was the bomb! I didn't know what they were singing, but I liked the way they sang it!

Since moving from Arizona, where amazing Mexican food restaurants are everywhere we have been searching for our new favorite food place. We stumbled across Carniceria Tapatia a few months ago and completely love it. We have probably had 1/2 the items on the menu so far and NOTHING has disappointed
