DO NOT GO!!!!!! I purchased the Groupon for $20 for $10 and I figured I would give it a try. We got there and the weather was nice so we sat outside on the patio. Our server was nice and the Swamphead beer was fairly cheap but the food we ordered was TERRIBLE. At first we though that the dozen or so feral cats that prowled the patio and surrounding area were kinda cute, but after a few attempts be some of the cats to get on the table the charm was lost. We ordered their Nachos, standard sports bar fare right? Well for $9 I expected more than we got. The portion was not impressive. The menu promise "layers of seasoned beef" more like 2 tablespoons of dry hamburger thrown on top and NO layering of anything, cold canned cheese sauce thrown atop with iceberg lettuce (the single most plentiful ingredient on the dish) NO shredded cheese and no onions. Whoever made the dish doesn't give a S*%$T about what they serve. Served me right. Go to Mothers next time I want any decent bar food because Gator Tales isn't worth the trip.

I love this place. We live blocks away and the staff are friendly. Perhaps it's more of a local bar where everybody knows your name and regulars feel at home. We love coming up here for a beer or dinner and catching football games. The new menu is great.

Food is bad. And the guy there yelled at me in front of everyone for tipping him 10%. Well, he charged me for an extra beer I didn't buy and now that I have reviewed my baking account, he changed my tip amount, by $4 on a $19 bill. Something to consider when you go there! I've had other bartenders that were better. Just make sure you get a girl and not that guy!

On May 21st 2014 I went to Gator Tales with the motorcycle group I run. We were sitting outside enjoying the evening. My wife was talking to some guy over at the other side of the deck from where I was seated. She waved me over and the guy introduced himself as the owner. He wanted to thank me for bringing the group and ask us to come more often. What he then said floored me. He claimed that he had just been having sex with my wife ( his language was a little more vulgar ). He then went on to say several other very inappropriate things. I had done nothing or said nothing that would provoke these comments from him. I could hardly believe what I was hearing. Not wanting to make a scene in front of my friends and fellow riders I brushed off his comments. This is terrible way for a business owner to behave, certainly not conducive to running a successful bar. I will not be returning unless the ownership changes.

Nice low key place to have a beer and wings. Friendly ppl and servers. Sing your heart out karaoke nights mostly every Tuesday and Thursday. :) Would definitely recommend!

Ordered a philly cheese chicken sub. It was ok for the size of a kid's meal. I'm an adult and for 8 bucks it should be adult portioned. Hand full of fries. Ridiculous.
