Review Gumby's Pizza - Gainesville

one star is for the nice crews but you guys should really rename this restaurant as cockroach pizza or bug pizza, much more like it. I was working out during 1 am morning and wanna have something to eat and they send me this lovely roach with a egged pizza. Though they refund me 100% and replace the pizza later. But have to say once you see a cockroach in a restaurant there are thousands you don’t see

Made this stop as part of my daughter's birthday weekend. Was not busy at all, which was surprising to me as imho this is the best pizza joint in Florida. Stoner Pie, Cluck You Pizza, Pokey Sticks, garlic Parm fries, ice cold beer and a great atmosphere made for a phenomenal meal!

The pizza was gross. When I mean a pool of oil in the middle, I mean it. It looked disgusting. There was also sauce that mixed with the oil and it tasted absolutely nasty. It's easily the worst pizza I have ever had. I don't recommend.

Food is really cheap. Nice place to hangout on Friday night.

Third visit, third awful experience. 5 orders after me all completed and eating or gone, even online orders completed. After I am obviously frustrated they check on my order to discover they didn't cook a third of my order. I was told 7 minute wait as my other food goes hard in the warmer, already a 40 minute drive home, ten to fifteen more I am finally out the door. I asked the child behind the counter to let her manager know and she laughed and told me to have a great day. Hope you are laughing reading this as it will be my last visit there. Several restaurants to choose from, customer service matters!!!

Food was good and service was great they were open late and the kitchen was still making orders at 1am. The only reason I gave them a 3 instead of a five is I had to work through aggressive panhandlers to get in the door. Not sure this is the safest place at night.

Went there on Saturday before close with 3 friends (my 3 friends were of a different race than I). It was about 30 minutes before close, and they had told them that they were no longer serving take out, only delivery. This was when they went to the bathroom, so I went to try and place an order, and they had no issue taking my order for carryout. Once they came back from the bathroom, and started talking to me, we were then told to get out of the restaurant because they were closing - despite me already ordering and paying for takeout. (Weird that this 180 turn happens at the same time that my friends come back?) I thought this meant they just wanted us to wait outside in the cold for our food to be done, but unfortunately it took me bout 15 minutes (after almost 45min of waiting outside) of knocking on the front door trying to tell the very person who took my order that I had ordered food and wanted it since I already paid. I'm unsure if it was just a coincidence that I was kicked out due to "closing" and almost robbed of the money I paid for our food when they saw my friends of different races were with me, or what. Making a customer who has already paid and waiting on food to pick up at a different door, and trying to deny them the very food they paid for after being completely okay with the transaction is not only unprofessional but detrimental to business. I will likely never patronize this business again.

Just ordered a pizza . And spoke with 1 very super amazing young lady . So sweet on the phone ❤️Very professional Very respectful . I will Always order from Gumby’s pizza . Not only the amazing young ladies are amazing !! But the people that deliver the pizza are on point too be amazing !! Hey Matt !! Thank you buddy !! Your 1 super fantastic young man . Ordered pizza, 2 salads, and wings. Paid for delivery and a good tip. Order was completely wrong, had to go pick up the correct food myself and still had to state several times what was wrong with the order. Oh - and they couldn't offer me a refund because I paid cash. So no compensation. Never. Again.

We love this place. Everyone is always so friendly. Great place to go and have fun! Good food and great bartenders!

Delicious definitely going again, little bit of a wait for food but sooo worth it!

Stopped in with the kids because I loved the place back in the mid 90's when I went to UF. Still has great SUBS, kids tore into the pokey sticks and the girl who took the order (slender brunette) was super nice to us while my kids did their 'I don't know ' menu trip.

Great pizza, great variety, and they have the best homemade ice cream on the planet!

FINALLY- What a pizza with everything is supposed to look like!!!! Warm and inviting atmosphere, and a short walk to the smoke shop!!! Thank you for the great dining experience. I'm originally from new York

Sometimes I wish the bartender staff would get they crap together. I enjoy the business but some of their staff is bad for it.

I accidentally bought 3 large pizzas, but this is definitely the best pizza I've ever had.

The Best since we have been in Florida . They even have the calzone and Stromboli right.
