Review Warehouse Restaurant - Gainesville

Thoroughly enjoyed our first Venezuelan food experience. Staff was friendly and attentive. Drinks were delicious and food was very flavorful and filling. Will definitely be returning with friends and family. We are also vegetarian so it was nice to have a good variety of things to enjoy not just a couple options like we normally see. Highly recommend

ultimately one of my favorite spots. arepas are my personal fave (have to get the fried cheese) & the last picture of the burger doesn’t even show how truly of a monster it is. truly an amazing place.

The pabellón looked amazing but I wouldn’t know how it taste. Drove 50 minutes to Tinker, me and my friend order 2 appetizers and we each ordered a pabellón. Her water and my juice came almost 30 minutes after, and only because I ask the waitress where we’re about drinks. The appetizers were amazing and my friend said the pabellón was good. I never got mine. It took over 20 minutes to get their attention. And the waitress said, oh sorry I forgot. 20 minutes, still nothing. Real bad service. I walk for the bill and told them I didn’t wanted it anymore because we were there for a long time. After paying they say we could give your pabellón on the house. I said fine and 10 minutes later they brought. The place wasn’t even full.

Absolutely wonderful! The food was fantastic, the drinks were amazing, I loved that they had a play area for kids to run around in. This is a wonderful place to eat and feel like you’re family.

I can't believe it took me so long to gonto Tinker. The restaurant is nice, cozy and spacious, the service was impecable, and the food was divine! This is a Latino family owned restaurant and you can tell they pit their hearts and soul into it. Would definitely recommend and I will be back to try more authentic Latin american food.

My family loves Tinker, and whenever friends come to town to visit, we always take them there. I recently went to their new location for graduation and was blown away by the service. They have an expanded menu and there was something for the whole family. My mom loves traditional Venezuelan dishes and she had the fish. My kid loves tequeños, my wife loves arepas , my brother and sister loved the hotdogs and i love the burgers. There’s something there for everyone and it’s all served with 5-star, white-glove service and it’s always, always, always delicious. The atmosphere is always inviting, and it’s a family-run business. You can tell they pour love into the atmosphere and the food. Thanks for always knocking it out of the park Tinker!

Tinker is the missing piece to having an authentic Latin cuisine in Gainesville!!! The greeter and door man was their young son and oh so cute! Our food was delicious and came out so quickly and exactly how we ordered it! Our signature drinks were chefs kiss!!! Adding this to our date night restaurant list!!!!

We went here for an engagement party this past week. We made reservations at the beginning of the week since we knew we were going to have a large party. The issues started as soon as ordering began. We were told they ran out of bread and that if they were to make more we would not get it until our food came out. We proceeded to order and waited a ridiculously long time for our food. During this hour wait we were not given drink refills. Some people got drinks but had to catch someone to get a drink. When we finally got food many of the orders were wrong. One of which was my steak that came out very rare. We were told they were putting our checks together while we had every intention of getting dessert. We realized at this point it was 15 minutes to closing so we would just go elsewhere for dessert. We then waited, no joke, about 40 minutes for our checks. Well beyond their closing time. We got all of our checks and sadly realized that a lot of them were wrong. They had to take the checks back to fix them since items were added we did not order and people's food was all mixed around. After over an hour wait total for our checks we got them and just wanted out at this point as it was around 9:45. They close at 9... We were so excited about doing our get together here but were so let down. Even with all of this the thing we were most appalled by was the unapologetic attitudes we were receiving. I would never recommend this restaurant after going here. There are plenty of quality restaurants downtown who have great food and wonderful customer service. Do not waste your time.

I’ve never wanted to give less than 1 star before. Our party had the worst experience at Warehouse this past Friday (2/23/2018). There are too many reasons to list but some are: no bread plates, no silverware or napkins, 1 hour wait for drinks (once seated with a reservation), forgotten drinks, poorly made cocktails (sangria the consistency of syrup), out of stock in several liquor, mixers, and menu items, over 2 hour wait for food, incorrect meals, and inability to split checks correctly. I tried to speak to the host early in the evening with no success —I was told he would need to speak to the owner about getting us napkins and plates? The restaurant was empty except for one other large party. The owner used the excuse that they were “swamped.” Please take my advice and go anywhere else to dine.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times in the last few years mostly for graduation diners and was very pleased. Well I was back again for a graduation diner and this one was disastrous. I am positive that there is a new ownership because the manager simply SUCKS! Do not go to this place ever! I know I won't! I wish there was a place to put 0 star because they don't deserve any....Again stay away, this place is trouble!

We had our wedding reception here. The owner and his staff did an amazing job on all fronts. The food was amazing, as was the atmosphere. They took care of everything for us. Awesome!!

Good menu selection with great flavors being offered. Full bar offering interesting weekly featured drinks. The wait staff was prompt and took good care of our table. Maybe it's hit or miss based on reading some of the previous reviews, but we were well taken care of during our dining experience.

The owner doesn't have 1 ounce of hospitality in him. He just wants your money. Stay away from this place.

Went there 2/23 with a group of 10 girls, a reservation for was made a week prior, they acted shocked that our group was 10 people when we got there. The place didn’t seem overly busy but It was a fiasco to get appetizer plates, napkins, and utensils brought to us. It took over an hour to get our fist round of drinks and even then they were brought one at a time and scattered and several were never brought and we had to go to the bar to reorder them because they couldn’t figure the orders out. It took them 45 minutes after we ordered drinks or food for them to come back and tell us they were were out of something (out of scotch, zucchini noodles, syrup for sangria, etc). Food came out closer to 2 hours after we ordered and several orders were wrong. Overall the food was ok but not worth the 2 hour wait. The ridiculously slow pace was quite comical and all we could do was laugh through it. Only go here if you have an entire freaking day to spend waiting on them to figure out what they are doing.

On this past weekend myself along with alumni celebrated our fortieth class reunion at the Warehouse. The venue was great and our food was delicious. Go Hurricanes Class of 77!

The food was great. The kitchen was another story. For a chef to intervene with the owner & customers with threatening profanity is totally out of line. To make a 7 year old child wait for almost 1 1/2 hours for a simple meal is totally unacceptable! Not sure how they stay in business. Our party of 6 prefer other restaurants in Gainesville that offer class with their meal.

Was just there last night for a friends engagement dinner. The atmosphere is great but our service last night was horrible. We had a reservation so they knew 20 people were coming. We didn't get any bread they ran out and if they cooked more or would be out after our food. Mind you at this point we had been waiting for our food for over an hour. My husband had to ask for his beer three times. On a side note the food was good. I will not be back.

Closed with no warning, no signs and no apology. After hearing that this is a common problem here, I won't be trying this place or giving it my money until they fix some of the organizational problems. It doesn't matter how good food is if you can't trust the business. Do better.

This is a wonderful restaurant. Food and service were excellent.

I don't know if the Duck Tacos are new to the menu or I just finally discovered them but, 10/10. Probably my favorite dish in Gainesville. On top of that, my overall experiences at Warehouse have always been great!

Overbooked and rushed out of the restaurant on Graduation night. The owner of this restaurant does not deserve your business.
