This is a small restaurant attached to Leonardo's Pizza. The reviews here are great, but I found the food to be average and the customer service below average. Outside seating is available but the view is of heavy traffic.
The unisex bathrooms are outside behind Leonardo's (think old-timey gas station bathroom) and are absolutely a wreck.

Delicious meals! On the pricey side and the queue line could be more organized. Other than that I enjoy this place every time I go in. It has the grunge era motif and feel. Food is prepared quickly and is very appealing to the eye.

We might have just come at an off time however overall very delicious. We found a hair in one sandwich. Our server was very understanding and helped us immediately. Everything else as far as taste, aroma, and presentation were on point.
Spicy meatloaf sandwich had a great consistency and array of flavors through the toppings. However, the bread was over toasted and had been sitting out for a while.

I can't get enough of this place. Their soups are to die for. Their sandwiches are some of the best I've had in Gainesville. The staff is attentive and friendly. The environment is peaceful and warm. I would come here every day for lunch if I had the choice to. The cost is lower than most places around so I would call it a good bargain.

Love this place! Food is always fresh and they use great ingredients. You get a lot of good quality food for the price. They have a decent selection and have food for dinner and lunch. Awesome sandwiches and amazing soups!

We had a great first experience here. Our waitress was very polite and helpful in choosing what entrees/drinks to order. Everything tasted great, and it was an extremely reasonable price compared to many other "fine dining" restaurants in Gainesville (all or most plates were under $20, many were under $15, beer/wine is $4-5). These guys know how to cook a steak medium rare. If you are looking for a place that is a step above your average dining experience in Gainesville but that is not too fancy or too pricey, Bistro 1245 is a great choice.

Always amazing and quick service. Such a unique and incredibly priced menu. Such a small charm in Gainesville. The butternut squash soup is great!

One of my favorite lunch spots. I will be super sad when they close for the new development. Definitely one of the top 3 best lunch spots in Gainesville. Don’t miss the squash bisque which is heaven.

Worst experience I've ever had in my entire life. I came in on Saturday night 9/26 wanting to place an order to go. The waitress quickly told us that it was a sit down restaurant and refused to serve us!! After we spoke with her about her refusing to serve us she started to apologize and told us about how she's having such a rough day. She treated us like crap!! Last I checked I was a customer and I should be treated as though I'm the most important person of the day, after all this is your job, you're in the customer service business. Never will I go to this restaurant again. Management never came out to see what the issue was nor did she attempt to correct the matter at hand. This was my first time in this establishment and frankly my last.
