Best place to shop! With everything you need and then some. All the seafood is fresh! There are fresh baked goods as well and a ton of specialty items. Not to mention the prices will beat any other store hands down for general every day items.
They have such good beef it has lots of flavor and the bread oh my it's so good. I like the Wegmans brand products like the BBQ sauce and baked beans. The produce is always good too.

I love Wegmans. The best breads (Garlic Tuscan and Miche Sourdough for the best Grilled Cheese Sandwiches), delicious, pastries and cheeses ever. The fresh food section is great with lots of tasty choices. Get the pizza! And the wine shop is hard to beat, giving Total Wine a run for their money. Cameron in the sub sandwich area was THE ABSOLUTE BEST!! He was very patient and accommodating with my 86 year old friend, and was super polite and helpful. He should definitely be in the running for employee of the month.

***review for the bakery-hope they see it*** TO MY CELIACS AND GLUTEN INTOLERANT community. If you need a gluten free cake for an event - THIS PLACE IS LIKE THE MAGICAL PLACE TO GO!! I rarely write reviews but yesterday, I hosted an event and wanted a gluten free cake. I know that I have had amazing cakes from this Wegmans over the years but not gluten free. I only did a simple half a sheet of one side white/yellow and the other side chocolate with the whipped frosting ............ OMGEEEZZZZZZ I don't know what magic Wegmans did but that cake tasted ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!! My guests also raved about the cake - you couldn't even tell it was gluten free (except for the fact you didn't get sick after eating it). It was soft and moist and a fan fave. If I host another event and need a gluten free cake - I will go no further!! This is my go to place. Also I don't know who can let the bakery staff know - whoever wrote on my cake has the most beautiful penmanship!!! The perfect dessert for my function. Thanks Wegmans bakery in Gainesville <3

Visiting family in the area, and I honestly could shop there daily...which is the point of providing ready to cook (or reheat) meals. Fantastic produce.
My all-time favorite place to shop! It’s like wonderland for adults! Clean, fresh, and huge variety. Cannot say enough great things. I drive from Florida just to shop there. Store brand is the best.

Awesome place to shop/eat/have a coffee/chill! Staff very helpful! Cookies and bread to die for! Red/white/blue bread=cranberries blueberries and the white of the sugar coating (not really sure about what the white stands for.) but the best bread ever but it’s seasonal! Good prices for store brand of dog food! Visiting from Michigan. Wish you’d bring Wegmans to my state! But I’ve been visiting VA a lot lately!
The grocery store is great, has many many things of good quality. Pricing is good particularly on the Wegmans items.
However the hot heat at the store food was disappointing. Not as many choices as the last time we were here, and they used to actually have a restaurant where they cook the food in front of you, and that's not here anymore.
Has a huge selection of cheese. On the more expensive side of the grocery stores, but does have quality stuff. Produce, deli, bakery and hot bar are next level, definitely very high standards going on, fun to walk through when it’s less busy, not as enjoyable when it’s packed with sassy nova moms so choose your timing wisely.
Very nice store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great selection of items in the Asian section. This store has Angelo Pietro Salad dressings. This store also has Red Jacket products. They are in the produce department in the cold box. Plenty of parking and easy to find.
This is my local Wegmans and I love it to life. I am an unofficial official fan girl of all Wegmans brand items. Also a nice place to eat after shopping or anytime. They have plenty of seating. I see meetings here all the time. In my honest opinion no grocery store is better.

Today I got some sushi, awesome sushi by the way and I was eating it upstairs and as usual I could not open the little ginger bags without the little cut to open them, but here comes Mary to the rescue, I saw her cleaning tables with a nice smile on, so I decided to ask for help and she came with paper scissors and helped me out open them! Some people are super friendly, others are nice, some smart, and then there’s Mary to beat them all, thank you Mary you’re the best ever!

I love this store, I come here a lot for items I can’t find in other grocery stores. Their Wegman’s brand products are pretty awesome too, and by far this is the nicest staff and cleanest Wegmans out of the 3 I know in this area.
I'm from the Southwest in Tucson, AZ and there is nothing like a Wegmans out in the Old Pueblo. It's like walking into a Farmers Market, Deli, Grocery Store, Restaurant, etc all rolled into one!! It was hopping!! We just stopped in to grab a plant so I didn't even have a chance to explore the whole store. Based on the service levels I received from the staff that were handing out samples I gonna hand a 5 Star! Loved the vibe in this store and would definitely shop here if I lived in Virginia! :))

Would be better if they didn’t play Maria Carey Christmas songs ad nauseum during the Holiday. That’ll drive anyone down their average revenue per shopper. Also this is the place if you need packages of cheese 5lbs and bigger and sh*t tons of dairy.
Great quality food here. Deduct one star for not having Henry Weinhardtas Root Beer and Aforementioned holiday muzak choices.
Love this complete and very clean grocery store. Everything you need, you'll find it here. And all the meat are fresh and they have a full butcher service. And varieties of cheese and wine. I recommend this store at least try coming here and you'll be coming back over and over.
