We had a great meal here. I was a little wary about the prices since everything is a la cart, but the food was enough to share. The Bob Ross tenders were amazing, cooked to perfection and the sauce pallette was super fun. Loved the decor and for a Saturday at around 5pm it wasn't too busy so we didn
Nice little place. Was not very crowded at dinner time on Saturday night so I hope they make it. Evidently they change their menu frequently so don’t go by the menu pictures on the reviews. Look at the current menu on their website. Margarita was spot on and the chicken fried steak was different but
The food was good and the service was friendly but SOOOOO SLOW. Plenty of parking. The lamb tacos were good but very greasy. The bananas foster was good but over the top sweet with the ice cream. The eggs bacon and browns were tasty. The mimosas are $2 on Sundays.
I arrived for a quick weekend lunch around noon and was pleasantly surprised by how quiet things were at this time. The staff are very polite and I was quickly presented with a lunch mimosa before starting on the well known chicken fried steak. The bar has a lot of options which I was not able to t
Our experience started off rough, but progressively got better. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. The initial waitress was a bit cold to welcome us and never greeted our table; no menu or waters for well over 5 minutes. Finally, we were about to leave when another waitress came over and brought
Food was fantastic. One the best meals I've ever eaten. Had an Elk Chop which was their local rancher special for the day. $35 is what I would consider an expensive meal, but the quality of the meal far exceeded what I would have expected. Atmosphere was also very enjoyable. Will definitely return.
One of the few spots for fine dining in the area with a good cocktail and diverse reasonably priced wine list with several by the glass selections. The menu includes shareable small plates in case you just want a glass of wine or a cocktail. We tried the Dover sole and the Holstein schnitzel and
This is the absolute best restaurant in the Houston are hands down! We have been there several time and have taken friends there and Brasserie 1895 never disappoints! The bartender truely knows how to make delicious drinks that compliment the food. The chef is amazing, he really knows how to elevate
I was apprehensive about eating her because of the recent negative reviews. The place was fantastic. Met a group of friends here for a party of 10 and the service and food were very good. Will definitely be back! Had a lot of fun here with old friends.
Great food. If you are in a hurry this may not be the place to go, as they allow you almost too much time between courses. *Update* Went back in last week with my father and was not disappointed. The sweetbreads were amazing as was the bacon steak and the chicken fried steaks and the Speculoos cake
Had multiple tasty cocktails and dinner was good. The description of the Deconstructed S’More had us scratching our heads... but we ordered it anyway. I’m glad we did. Absolutely amazing. Excited to return and explore some more of this menu.
Celebrated a birthday. We had great food and 1/2 off glasses of wine. JP Lee played and was amazing. Will be back
Slow service. Weirdest chicken fried steak I ever saw, HOWEVER the seasoning was great and so was the meat! Friends did NOT care for the wine selection and weren't happy with the French fries.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD! The staff is fantastic, knowledgeable, and friendly. You cannot find a better place for great food or great cocktails.
