A not to miss place for sure!! We make an annual pilgrimage to here from Gig Harbor and also bring the ice chest. Their pizza is AMAZING and Key Lime pie to die for!! All their pastries and breads are awesome!! I can't speak highly enough of this bakery. Always consistent year to year when we go which is a great thing to count on. Never disappointes!!
The only thing I would say and it's a small thing and depends on taste is, their Peanut Butter cookies need more PB flavor. A bit flat for us but the bake and color is perfect. Don't be put off by the molasses in the Oatmeal Molasses cookies....not overly sweet at all...just perfect! The Cinnamon Rolls are perhaps the best you will have! The Country French bread is terrific with just a hint of sourdough flavor. The staff is awesome and always helpful. LOVE this place!!
I always order ahead since we come so far, so I know they won't be out of what I want. Stuff goes fast here!
They have best pizza I've eaten in ages! The crust was perfectly chewy and crunchy, and the toppings in excellent proportion. The service was friendly and considerate to boot. Had I the forethought, I would have grabbed some bread for the road!

Great cookies, breads and pizza. We always stop in Friday Harbor and spend a night in their Marina just so we can visit San Juan Bakery. And, yes, it is quite a hike from the Marina to San Juan Bakery, but well worth it! My favorite is a six pack of Snickerdoodles! Enjoy!!!

Wow! Wow! Wow! If you are looking for perfection in your baked goods- come here! We just had the best carrot cake we've ever had! (And honestly- I make a pretty mean one myself!) But this one blew the doors off my recipe! It was loaded with pecans on the outside, making it look beautiful as well as tasting incredible too! Not sure what all was inside, but it was loaded inside too! Not too much spice which sometimes overpowers the taste of the cake- it was perfection! Danishes were fresh and awesome too! You can't go wrong here!
What a LOVELY bakery! The owner, lizette, is the nicest, sweetest person. The pizzas are delicious, phenomenal value!

I can't say enough good things about this bakery and honestly I don't want to say too many things about this bakery because it's nice to have a place that isn't overcrowded on the Island especially during the summer season. In my pizza opinion, they serve one of the best thin crust pizzas I have ever eaten. Certainly one of the best on the Island.
They do se great breads and pizzas and pastries. They make some really unique and delicious pizza!! However, their sandwiches don't have a whole lot of flavor; they're fine, I guess, but nothing special compared to other places in town. They use their own bread though, which is nice, but the fillings and flavors and variety aren't noteworthy.
We really love their breads and their cookies. And our favorite dessert they make is the Brown Butter Apple Tart. YUMMY!
Great bakery, just wished they were opened more. I guess their success has allowed them to be “independent.” Or like their fabulous bake goods, “very French,” if you know what I mean…….
This was our first visit, and we'll definitely be back. We met another customer who had tried something different every day for several days, so we took her advice and each got the pecan butter tart. They were delicious. Lots of other treats to choose from as well as pizza, sandwiches, and salad.
I buy a cinnamon roll every Thursday and todays was outstanding! Soft, sweet and perfect. The past 2 weeks the dough hasn't been as thick and they were kind of dry. I almost gave up on my weekly treat. Whatever the baker did today, keep it up!!
This was a quick fix coffee stop. But it turned out to be a full fledged bakery haul. Their brownies deserve a special mention. We also tried the Pain au Chocolat and croissant. The cappuccino we got here was one of the best I've ever had. Cheers!
This place is a bakery. Sure, they have sandwiches and pizza. But at heart it's a bakery. Their pastries are made with art and passion and flair in the French style; they have that certain je ne sais quoi that makes you wonder what makes them so good. No seating, all take out.
Bakery San Juan makes the best pizza I've ever had! I also love their coffee cake and tarragon turkey sandwiches. They seriously can't do anything wrong, everything they have is delicious! 10/10 very much recommend ⭐
